* ''WesternAnimation/TheLittleMermaid'' has a mermaid/human romance.
* While we don't actually get to see them in the movie, the creators of ''WesternAnimation/{{Zootopia}}'' have confirmed interspecies relationships do happen in this WorldOfFunnyAnimals. The main duo, Judy (a rabbit) and Nick (a fox), are heavily implied to be well on their way to becoming a couple.

** While ''WesternAnimation/{{Madagascar}}'' didn't suggest anything as far as interspecies romance goes, the second one made Melman (giraffe) and Gloria (hippo) an OfficialCouple.
*** The third one gave us another example: King Julien (ring-tailed lemur) and Sonya (a big fat bear)!
*** While [[UnresolvedSexualTension they never did officially get together]], the third movie also had quite a bit of ShipTease between Alex (lion) and Gia (jaguar).
*** This one has the bonus advantage of being [[TruthInTelevision physically possible]], though difficult due to mild HotSkittyOnWailordAction. The offspring are called Jaglions or Jaguons.
** ''WesternAnimation/PenguinsOfMadagascar'' has Kowalski (a penguin) fall in love with Eva (a snow owl), who rebuffs his advances. [[spoiler:She reciprocates at the end, though.]]
** In ''BeeMovie,'' Barry, a bee, is clearly infatuated with Vanessa, a human florist. That being said, it's not clear if they're officially together at the end; if so, they're a ChastityCouple for fairly obvious reasons.

* ''Film/{{Species}}'' pretty much opened and closed with this trope.

* In ''Film/GalaxyQuest'', human Fred Kwan hooks up with tentacled alien Laliari who transforms part-way to her original non-human form while they're both making out. Fred doesn't mind this and, in fact, seems to -- ''ahem'' -- rather enjoy it. The PluckyComicRelief Guy, however, is in the area when they begin, and poor [[PluckyComicRelief Guy Fleegman]] [[SickAndWrong is there to witness it.absolutely disgusted]].

** Not to mention that, as revealed in ''WesternAnimation/{{Shrek 2}}'', Fiona's own father is the original Frog Prince, which might explain her dual physical nature.

* ''WesternAnimation/KungFuPanda'' seems to be going this direction with Po and Tigress judging from the second film.
** The TV series also had a duck and a pig.
** AND in the episode "Love Stings", we see Mr.Ping x [[spoiler: Scorpion, the villain]].
** There's also a female goat that flirts with Po all the time.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Shrek}}'' starts out with Shrek and Fiona as ogre and human, and even after she becomes an ogre, too, we've still got a donkey/dragon romance, complete with mutant babies!
* Not to mention that, as revealed in ''WesternAnimation/{{Shrek 2}}'', Fiona's own father is the original Frog Prince, which might explain her dual physical nature.
* A rather painful aversion in Disney's ''Disney/TheSwordInTheStone'': Wart (Arthur) gets turned into a squirrel temporarily by Merlin's magic, and a big-eyed girl squirrel falls for him, instantly turning into a StalkerWithACrush. Though annoying, she is terribly upset when Wart turns back into a human, and he apologizes, "If you could only understand," while she, not comprehending a word, runs away and cries. The scene fades with the poor squirrel sobbing her little rodent heart out, which seems to be the (for kids!) movie's only commentary on romantic relationships.
* ''WesternAnimation/OverTheHedge'' has Stella the skunk and Tiger the Persian cat, who conveniently has no sense of smell.
* In ''WesternAnimation/TheSecretOfKells'', there are a few sparks between Brendan (human) and Aisling (a fairy whose alt form is [[CanisMajor a giant white wolf.]]) Though they were originally planned to be fully-fledged love interests, in the end the writers settled on them just being LikeBrotherAndSister instead.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Megamind}}'': Roxanne and Megamind [[spoiler:eventually end up in a relationship together]]. Although nobody really makes a big deal of it, he is an alien. She was also rumored to have an affair with Metro Man, a HumanAlien; ([[spoiler:he is actually "not her type]]).
