** In the ''Shadows Amidst Snowstorms'' event, the two share more moments together, with Eula helping Amber out and even protecting her from an avalanche. One of the snowmen descriptions seems connected to Amber and Eula as it says an outrider's friend usual stoic face broke into a grin at seeing the snowman.

* The Windblume Festival is a major source of this for Mondstadt-based characters. As the Mondstadt holiday of love, most NPC characters celebrate it as a romantic time, whereas playable characters tend to simply get close to someone else with the nature of the love kept ambiguous. Notably, it features Bennett reading his love poem to Razor and having the latter talk about the warm feelings that it inspired, Jean and Lisa spending the festivities together under the guise of work while admitting that they really just need to hang out more, and Amber and Noelle nearly crashing into each other in what looks an ''awful lot'' like a MeetCute while Venti narrates how some loves become closer only by chance.

* Venti and Xiao, due to the heavy implications that Venti once saved Xiao's life when he almost lost himself to his karmic debt. Xiao was left quite touched by that and his name card says, that he longs for a day where he can dance to the sound of the flute that once saved him.
* Only Aether [[spoiler:is able to tell something is off with Albedo, even when his closest students like Sucrose talked to his impostor and didn't notice anything off.]]
* The Dragonspine Spear's lore describes Durin's demise at Dvalin's hands in suspiciously intimate terms. Not only does it describe Dvalin piercing Durin's neck with his fangs as being like a "tender lover," but [[ObliviouslyEvil Durin]] holds no ill will towards Dvalin, calling him a "lovely dragon" in his mind as he dies and wishing that they could have met in another time and place to sing and dance together.

* Xiangliang and Keqing have some moments during the Moonchase festival where the two spend a good portion of it together. It's also revealed that the two were actually close friends. As Aether and Xiangling talk about Keqing's personality, Aether tells Xiangling that despite her looks, Keqing is a good person. Xiangling admits she actually didn't find Keqing all that scary and found she was easy to talk to. On Keqing's side, the way she confides in the Traveler about how she doesn't know how to act around Xiangling can easily been read as a girl being nervous around her crush and asking a friend for advice.

* Kazuha and Tomo became an immediate ship the moment their backstories were revealed they were close friends. Kazuha even travels across Tevyat in order to find a way to restore his late friend's Vision. When he goes up against the Shogun [[spoiler: Tomo's Vision briefly sparks to life to protect Kazuha]].

* Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun [[spoiler:or rather, Raiden Ei]] stand out as this, with deep emphasis on Yae's entire motivation in the Inazuma storyline being to save [[spoiler:Ei from her own isolation]], Yae being described as the only person who is able to see her or has access to her when she's closed off, [[spoiler:Ei trusting her with the Gnosis, Yae teasing her and claiming 'she wouldn't mind' with a wink]], and the final conversation between the two in the Archon quest coming as if it's between two lovers (with much of the fandom joking that the Traveler is a third wheel in that scene).

* Despite the tensions in the Western community due to the pair being adoptive brothers, Kaeya/Diluc is a ''very'' popular ship due to their canon dynamic, the red-blue contrast in their designs (also [[FireIceDuo ice vs. fire]]) and the fact that their canon descriptor as [[TrueCompanions Sworn]] [[HeterosexualLifePartners Brothers]] is a popular Boys Love shipping dynamic in Chinese fanbases. What adds more fuel to their ship is Kaeya still willing to talk to Diluc and visit Angel's Share, with Diluc (reluctantly) putting up with him despite what happened between them in the past.

* If you choose Lumine, Lisa flirts with the Traveler and refers to them as "[[AffectionateNickname cutie]]". Her event is essentially Lumine going out on a date with Jean.

* Childe sounds almost flirty in his tones whenever he runs into Aether and even teases the other when he gets the chance. He also seems to affectionately refer to Aether as "[[AffectionateNickname comrade]]". When you fight Childe for the first time where he makes something of an innuendo as he tells Aether how excited he is for the opportunity to fight him and promises that he'll be "gentle".

* If you chose Lumine, there are bits of Ayaka/Lumine. Ayaka almost seems like a girl with a growing crush as she spends more time with Lumine. When she gives her support to Lumine, it almost sounds like [[AbortedDeclarationOfLove she's going to confess something]] before she switches it to being [[LastMinuteWordSwap Lumine's friend]]. She even holds a special dance only for the traveler to watch and seeks them out for nothing more than to be in their company.

Xiao also gifts him a handmade butterfly made of leaves for the Traveler's birthday; and on his own birthday gets Aether a bunch of crystalflies for him to put in his hair because Xiao thought it would look pretty. During the Moonchase event, Smiley Yao asks if Aether could teach him the Satisfying Salad recipe. He says that he [Xiao] ate it up last time Aether made it for him when Xiao usually wouldn't eat anything else besides [[TrademarkFavoriteFood Almond Tofu]].
