** When Lightning loops back to [[WesternAnimation/{{Cars}} the Court House scene]], he takes the chance to apologize for what he did, even offering to fix the road. Everyone (with the exception of an Awake Mater) are completely shocked by this, but it's clear that Lightning was trying to surprise them with this.

* During Auto's Awakening, both Wall-E and Captain [=McCrea=] reveal that they have [[EasilyForgiven already forgiven]] him for what he did in Baseline. While shocked and admitting that he doesn't understand why, Auto admits he's very touched.
