** The very fact that Silver gets to reunite with Blaze. Sure, she's not the same Blaze he knew in his timeline, but him finally getting to escape his [[BadFuture Bad Future]] and befriend a version of someone he never thought he'd see again (and may have feelings for) makes it feel like he finally [[EarnYourHappyEnding earned his happy ending.]]

* One of Modern Sonic's animations is him smiling and looking around, seeming to recognize the area and reminiscing his times from whichever old stage he's in, especially so when the player can relate to Sonic, if they have memories respective game as well.

* Right after the end credits and the archival clips finish rolling, the words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONIC!" appear, as well as a screaming crowd yelling those words. You deserve it after all these years, Sonic.

The other recording is from ''Summer of Sonic 2011'', an event which may be the epitome of Heartwarming - since it was a totally free event set up by the fanbase out of love to the series. In the beginning in 2007, when the event could only hold 200 people in the room at a time, had local English guests, and was entirely home-funded, fans paid for ''aeroplane tickets'' just to get there to hang out, with no idea that the annual event would eventually get so big as to be visited by Crush40, Takashi Iizuka, and ''Yuji Naka himself''. It seemed to be a special moment for Mike Pollock, who while leaving only at the very end of the day, said to one of the guys at the door that he really hoped it would be held again next year, and would come again regardless of his schedule.
