* After an argument with Alexander (where Alexander tells off his father for wanting to do things his way and Graham trying to forbid Alexander's use of magic), the sphinx [[spoiler: imprisons Graham to try to capture Alexander. Graham, despite hating magic, draws on it out of desperation to save his son. His first words when he breaks out? "I love you Alexander. I always have!"]]

* A minor one, but Graham finally leaves behind his adventuring cape. Why? [[spoiler: To respectfully cover the body of either Vee/Neese, who had become Icebella and had just been killed by Manny. As the family leave, the spirit of the girl in her youth is shown, watching them go.]]

* The scene after the Duel of Strength. After Manny manipulated the guards into ridiculing Acorn over the handknitted sock he made(and what a jerk Acorn had been so far), Graham instead returns the sock to him and apologizes for what happened. When Acorn admits that he would prefer to make arts and crafts, but he was pushed to be a knight because he was big, Graham supports him. From that moment on, Acorn happily supports Graham and helps with anything he asks, even gifting him a pair of his handmade socks.

* Graham saves a Goblin(really a human who had been raised as a goblin)from some goblins bullying him. Graham uses a light and a baby dragon to scare his tormenters off. The man, in thanks, helps him cross the chasm using a bridge. [[spoiler: The man is revealed to be Mordack, who later pulls a HeelFaceTurn and saves Graham, betraying Manny when he remembers this event.]]

* Graham saves a Goblin(really a human who had been raised as a goblin)from some goblins bullying him. Graham uses a light and a baby dragon to scare his tormenters off. Graham is the first person who shows her empathy, and when she can't exit the tower, he walks out with her, even smiling happily to see Graham with his chosen princess before she leaves walks off to find herself]].

* The answer to the final riddle of the sphinx. "What is the one thing worth breaking the bonds of your family?" Graham's answer? [[spoiler:Nothing. There is nothing worth that.]]

And Wente tells Graham, "Nobody outside our family knows this recipe. A fact that will remain true now that you have it." Meaning that Wente and Bramble consider Graham as part of their family.
