* The triumphant finale wherein hundreds of happy children reunite with their parents to the Heroically Uplifting tune of "The Raider's March".
* Short Round and Indy, Young Warrior and Old Warrior, exchange hats in apology as Father and Son, then embrace.
** Don't forget the part just before: "I'm all right, kid." *wink* Followed by a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome as Indy and Short Round punch out the guards, Indy rescues the girl, and the mood shifts from HighOctaneNightmareFuel to [[Awesome/IndianaJones awesomeness]].
** And Short Round's clearly heartbroken declaration of "Indy! I love you!" before burning him to snap him out of his BrainwashedAndCrazy madness.
* The reunion of all the children from the mines with their parents. What sells it is that the last time Indy was in the village, it was dull and lifeless with no color at all. When the kids and Indy come back, the entire village is alive and bright with colors.

* As a young teen, Indy is forced to give up the Cross of Coronado and the bandit Fedora turns to him and says: "You lost today kid, but that doesn't mean you have to like it." He then gives Indy his [[NiceHat hat]], which then becomes Indy's hat, forever.
* The scene where Henry Jones Senior was overjoyed that his son did not die in the falling tank, and for the first time hugged him with genuine love.
* Indy [[spoiler:saving his dying father with the Holy Grail, and allowing him to finally hold the object that he has spent his life seeking]].
* Indy, [[spoiler:hanging from a cliff, tries to grab the Holy Grail but is slipping from the edge and his father needs both his hands. "Indiana? Son...let it go." Not only an awesome twist on FriendOrIdolDecision, but the first time his father called him "Indiana"]].

* At the end when Indy and Marion FINALLY get married. The wind blows the door open, sending the iconic fedora landing at Mutt's feet. He picks it up and almost puts it on before his dad snatches it away as if to say, 'Ah...not yet, but you're close."
** To wit and to match what was written above about illumination, Mutt doesn't treat the hat as a prize. You can see him hold and look at it with reverence and respect as if the hat itself contained some sort of power. It's also perhaps the first time that it really hits Mutt that his dad is THE Indiana Jones; that his dad is this really amazing man instead of a deadbeat that he's thought all his life. He's experiencing for the first time in a very real way the sort of awe all children have at their invincible fathers.
