* The secret ending, unlocked upon beating the [=DLC=] on the hardest Mind Level. Remember TheStinger of the main game, in which a smuggler that sounds suspiciously like Vaas chats with Juan? Yeah, that ''was'' Vaas. He is alive, [[HesJustHiding as many people guessed]], and he is much calmer and happier than he was on the Rook Islands. He gets philosophical with himself.. and a tennis ball on a stick that looks a lot like him (or Jason), looking over a Yaran sunset. [[CatharsisFactor It's just so touching to finally see our favorite lunatic at peace with himself]] [[EarnYourHappyEnding after so much suffering.]]

* Pagan's visions of Ishwari, Ajay, and Lakshmana sitting down for dinner together. They're casually chatting like a normal family, and Ajay gets along just fine with his sister. [[TearJerker Oh, what could have been..]]

* Ajay, outside of Pagan's visions, shows up as an enemy, but with one notable feature: he appears as himself, with none of the corruptions that the "Tainted Path" tends to have, such as the hideous blotches of paint or any other deformity. This is meant to represent how, in ''Far Cry 4'', no matter what Ajay does to ruin his operation, Pagan still sees him as his golden child and holds no ill will towards him.
* Lakshmana is represented by a hypothetical older version of her. She is the sweetest girl in the whole wide world and loves her daddy to death. At the same time, her purpose in Pagan's ironic hell is to insist that he's done nothing wrong and that he's just a victim in his story, so even she contributes to torturing him in a way.

[[folder:Collapse]]
* Joseph is genuinely remorseful for all his sins and sees himself as horribly wrong for his actions leading up to the Collapse. He even has the gall to call out "The Voice", whom he believes to be God Himself, for "lying" to him, ruining his life and the lives of his loved ones. Throughout the [=DLC=], we see him tortured by and sincerely apologizing to Faith, John, Jacob, Pastor Jerome, and he even has somewhat of a soft side towards the Junior Deputy, of whom he deems his "[[VideoGame/FarCryNewDawn Judge]]".

* The map has pictures of graves for any important Libertad allies who died, to honor the fallen. No kind treatment for the assholes, though. Post-Game, [[spoiler:Diego]] is given a grave, despite the fact that he was firmly on the Castillos' side, because he sympathized with the rebels, tried to positively support both sides as best he could, and was murdered by his own family for it.
