*** While for people with more knowledge it is heartbreaking in a different way, because with the implied meaning of the second part of the quote they paint Gandalf as ultimately lying. No one knows what happens to the spirits of Men (and propably also to the related Hobbits) after their spirits leave the world. The quote is lifted from Frodo's journey to Aman.

Correcting grammar, spelling and excising excess detail... and Scott didn't bend Logan's claws back. And he didn't snap out of his brainwashing due to seeing Jean hurt- he did so because he'd just taken a psychic blast from her.

** Wolverine & Rogue, every time they interact is one heart warmer after another.
** Cyclops Telling the proffesor how much of a father he is to him after [[spoiler: Mystique poisoned Cerebro's power core to make it lay him out]], Scott's words show why he should have appeared in the film more: "You've taught me everything I know that's worth knowing... ...If anything should happen... ...I'll take good care of them." (Tear in his eye)
** After seeing Jean in Cerebro, which earlier was made clear is dangerous to her due to her lack of training, Cyclops runs as fast as he can to the room only for the doors to close, when they reopen & she's on the floor Scott is almost crying with worry, made more clear how touching as this scene was then used in an X-Men Evolution fanfiction.
** Another Scott & Jean one, After Magneto has used his powers to trap them to a wall, his visor lost & his face facing hers, she tells him to open her eyes, which he replies: "No, I don't want to hurt you.", Scott's Eyes producing an unstoppible & limitless amount of energy that he can stop unless he keeps his eyes closed or wears a visor, him refusing to open them until she tells him "Trust me."
