* After the tragic death of one of the oldest DS content creators Helicalpuma, a lot of major Don't Starve content creators collaborated to sing Here's Health to the Company in honor of him. [[https://youtu.be/OXwvDY4N1es You can hear it here.]]
** The comments section of their [[https://youtu.be/uOjQd6z8tVk last video before their death]] is filled with comments remembering him, including one from Klei themselves.
* The entire reason the {{VideoGame/Terraria}} crossover exists at all is this. In an AMA with Re-Logic, the devs were asked what game franchise they would want to make a crossover with. They answered Don't Starve, and as it turns out, [[ApprovalOfGod Klei themselves were on the same page.]] And after some discussion, the two companies immediately got to work coming up with ideas and setting aside time on their schedules to bring a crossover to us. All because they thought it would be cool to do tributes to each others games.

* In WX-78's cinematic, ''Disconnected'', the short starts off with the survivors picking up the wreckage after a raid by some Pigs trashed their base. Among all the repairs, Winona seems to be putting her energy towards fixing up WX-78, who was apparently damaged to the point of shutting down during the scuffle. Even if they generally seem dismissive of organic life, it's nice that their human companions still care enough to patch them up if they can't repair themselves.
** If Winona examines WX-78's circuits, she will complain about their wanting to do their own manutention or she will be concerned about their apparent lack of care for themselves. Other than that, it is revealed that Winona granted WX-78 permission to use her generators to recharge themselves when it is not raining.

* Maxwell's rework video, ''Encore'', while definitely having some moments to be nervous about, has a quick moment where Maxwell regains consciousness to see the other survivors worrying over him. Wilson and Willow, two characters who used to hold particular grudges against him, smile when they see he's alright, implying they've buried the hatched with him.

* With the 'A Little Drama' update adding a stage, each player character now has a unique act to perform on it, many of them reciting a poem. Here's Wolfgang's.

[[AC:Midsummer's Cawnival]]
* Corvus Goodfeather is a refreshing change of pace for the event NPC's. There are no stakes or threats involved. He's simply a carnival host looking for a good venue, and is perfectly happy letting the survivors participate in the festivities and cawnival games.

* Winona spending ''thirteen years'' looking for her little sister, when most people would've given up. Doubles as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome.

* The trailer of ''Reap What You Saw'' is just adorable. To start, ''there are most of the characters released at the time of the update'', and they are all busy to apply the new farming tools and techniques to grow healthy plants together. It is nice to see the survivors get along in a mostly peaceful environment and use their individual abilities to pursue a common objective.

* Pretty much the entirety of Wes's character animated shot ''C'est La Vie'' is spent showing just how nice he is despite all the misfortunes his [[BornUnlucky terrible luck]] causes him, from sharing his hard-earned lunch with a performing monkey to going to great lengths to retrieve a little girl's missing doll.

* The Wendy rework brings in a new neutral mob in the form of Pipspooks, ghosts of children that spawn from headstones. The heartwarming part comes in the form of Wendy being able to help them, finding their lost toys, and helping them find peace.
** Wilson has quite possibly the sweetest reaction towards seeing a Pipspook.
--->'''Wilson:'''"Aww, does someone have a little boo-boo?"
