* Passpartout confesses to his misdeeds misdeeds. He does it to snap Fogg out of his depression.

depression, but it's clearly an excuse and he just wants to come clean.

* Abigail playing peacemaker between Passpartout and an enraged Fogg. It's partly pragmatism as they must rely on each other to survive, but she truly does want to help them reconcile.

* The raft. Fogg makes it while enraged against Passpartout, but has nothing to tie it with. Passpartout finds some vines and finishes the raft overnight in heavy rain, making himself sick in the process. He's so sick he'll die unless he's kept warm, and the firewood is quickly exhausted. Fogg burns the raft without hesitation to save Passpartout. This marks the trio becoming TrueCompanions at last.

* Fogg tells Abigail and Passpartout about his history with Estella. It's clearly hard for him to talk about, and it's significant that he trusts them with the story.

* The Governor from whom the White Dragon was stolen is furious, not because his house was robbed or his property stolen, but because ''someone made his wife cry''! He then stiffly tells "Clemmy" that he's not good at expressing his love for her, or his gratitude for the sacrifices she's made for him, so he gave her the White Dragon to show her.
