* Okay, in the comics all of the Minutemen supposedly learned n their secret identities when they joined. Already this complicates that Hooded Justice is a Black man. But also, Hooded Justice was publicly in a relationship with Silk Spectre to hide his sexuality (not at all uncommon for gay men of the time). So did noone know? Did everyone know? Did only Sally Jupiter know? And if yes to the last one, which identity was Sally Jupiter protecting?
** It is actually mentioned in the Peteypedia (Memo: Infernal/Internal Affairs) that their "dating" was mainly a publicity stunt and she never saw him without his mask, either.

Answered a headscratcher question about the speed of Adrian Veidt's rescue

** Trieu's observation probe seemed akin to the voyager probes, which don't have any propulsion systems beyond escaping Earth's atmosphere; they rely on a gravity well slingshot effect to navigate through the solar system (which all has to be calculated in advance). They move relatively slowly because the point is to get good footage. The probe sent to retrieve Adrian seems to have actual propulsion systems, so presumably it could travel a lot faster.

* So, Lady Trieu visits Adrian at Karnak in 2008 and tells him that her probe is going to be in view of Europa's surface in a little over five years. Then, in 2009, the Doc teleports Adrian ''to'' Europa's surface. Four years later the probe arrives and sees Adrian's "save me, daughter" message, which prompts Trieu to send another probe to retrieve him. Even if she was able to whip up that second probe instantly (or had made it already), shouldn't it have also taken five years to reach Europa and another five to get back? Meaning Adrian couldn't have returned to Earth any earlier than 2023?

** At the moment of Will's 'abduction' the pills aren't 'complete', as they didn't yet contain the memory of Judd's hanging. Abducting Will and returning the car gave Trieu time to extract the updated memories and the oportunity to return the pills to Angela. Given the abduction, and the fact that it probably takes health-facility level equipment to extract the memories, it makes little sense to think they 'completed' the memories while Will was waiting under the tree or alone in the bakery. It can be argued, but is the most convoluted explanation.

*** That’s her point exactly. In the original, Dr. Manhattan gives no shit about people or Laurie’s feelings as God would. But that makes him no less vulnerable. She was right in the end.

** I get that. But is she saying that God isn't perfect either? Otherwise he would have seen that coming? And that GodIsEvil, obsessed with [[DisproportionateRetribution finding reasons to send people to Hell]]?

What was the meaning of the joke? I mean, I get the part of God sending Nite Owl, Ozymandias, and Dr. Manhattan to Hell. But God getting killed by the brick thrown by the little girl and sent to Hell himself?
