** I wonder whether the first scenes contain any clues. There, in a flashback, the protagonists are in a pool (like on the movie poster, and unlike during the weekend, where there's a pool that they don't use). Why are those scenes part of the story?

[[folder: The rules and Sophie 2's strategy]]
Sophie 2's strategy is quite elaborate:
* Tell Ethan 1 that she loves Ethan 2, so that Ethan 1 doesn't suspect that she will try to leave with Ethan 1.
* Tell Sophie 1 the whole truth, so that Sophie 1 can pretend to be Sophie 2, so that Ethan 1 will let Sophie 1 stay with Ethan 2.

Why did Sophie 2 preted to be Sophie 1 with Ethan 2? Just to let him know that she knows that he loves Sophie 1, as a sort of closure?

What would Sophie 2 have done if Ethan 2 hadn't become unconscious?

Why wasn't Ethan 1 afraid to leave Sophie 2 and Ethan 2 alone downstairs, from where they could have escaped?

Why weren't Ethan 1 and Sophie 2 afraid to leave the others at the invisible wall, from where they could have escaped if Ethan 2 had regained consciousness quickly?

Were the clones unable to escape during the last hours because Ethan 1 still loved Sophie 1? Or didn't they escape because Ethan 2 didn't want to leave without Sophie 1? What are the rules anyway, who is allowed to escape and who isn't?
