While many fans were happy that Lena genuinely offered condolences to Kara, it is out of character. Since season 4, Lena has hated Kara, believed that she never trusted her and only refers to her as Supergirl. She was last scene ignoring Kara's warning not to continue with Non Nonchere, so it doesnt make sense that she turns up and sincere with Kara and offering help on dealing with grief.
