** As far as I can see; the series being retconned into the end of the timeline did. Hell if the conclusion of the X series, the Zero Series, and ZX series actually had the exact scenario planned. But what they knew they were doing was driving the headcount down towards the last human.

* Would I be considered a "criminal" for not caring about the cancellation of MML3? (as I'm more familiar with and grew up with the original Mega Man)
** No, just shortsighted. A lot of people clamoring for it aren't doing so out of love for MML (I am, but a lot of my compatriots aren't), but out of fear of the entire metaseries being abandoned, since the last non-8-bit game came out in '07, both games that started development since were cancelled, and the series was once known for coming out twice a year. Its not the game itself that's getting so much attention, neccesarily, its just that its coming to represent the series as a whole in terms of development attention.

* I'm just gonna bring it up now. MML3 = canceled = People raging.
** Sales were poor for the first game, the other 2 didn't get much better. All the japanese companies are doing poorly money-wise. They need money, not risks. I don't like it, but I can understand their point. Likewise, that's why they still have the devroom up. Atleast they're willing to work with people.
** Bullcrap. They said it was canceled because of a lack of interest ''before they released the demo which was supposed to gauge interest''. They canned it because they didn't think it was going to be a huge cash cow and Inafune wasn't there to interfere anymore. It was probably one of the most anticipated titles they had in development, judging from the reaction when it was announced and the reaction now that it's been canceled.
** I'm wondering how what I said isn't ''also'' true. They're both correct, though. And that's why they don't think there's much interest, because of poor sales.
*** I'm saying it's bullcrap that there was a lack of interest. Judging by the fact fans have been asking for the game for years, the huge positive reception it got when it was announced, and the support of the Devroom, I think it's pretty clear there was interest in the game.\\\
There's also the fact that they announced the demo would be released specifically to gauge whether or not there was interest, then they cancel it before ever doing so. How, exactly, do they gauge interest ''now'' based on sales that happened ''a decade ago''? And without doing the one thing they said they were going to do specifically to gauge interest?
*** Ah, that's what you meant. I do think it's silly to specifically look at the past and apply it only there, but I'm not Capcom. And true, but they have to use money to release every copy of the demo. There's production costs to keep in mind. I think the best thing would've been to make it downloadable via the internet specifically, which would cut cost on physical materials in general. It'd help, and they could still charge about the same. Likewise, they even said the demo was very bland itself. While this isn't the opinion of anybody but them(and how could it be?), it's rather obvious they would rather release a quality demo from that alone.(obvious not being 100% truth, but a pretty sound theory here) If the devroom gets enough interest, we could see the demo this time, though. And the current number for devroom members is 4,000... which isn't much people as is. That isn't worth the sales figure.
*** The reddit post supposedly from a Capcom employee saying the demo was considered "bland" is bullcrap and has been proven false. Plus, there was no need to "use money to release every copy of the demo". The demo ''was going to be a downloadable title for the 3DS's eShop.'' Did you miss that fact?

***Yuna and Sera (Congresspersons)
***Bureaucratic Models (Politicians governor and below|Juno's Normal form)
***Purifier-Purifier Models (Internal Affairs agents|Juno's [[OneWingedAngel second body]])
