* In the episode "Junkie Business," a new hire at Strickland Propane turns out to be a drug addict. Buck tries to fire him, but it turns out that drug addiction is considered a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act, so Buck is legally required to keep him around or else risk losing his business. Great, except that if you're applying for a job under the ADA and claiming drug addiction as a disability, ''you have to fucking tell someone.'' An employer can't be expected to make accommodations without knowing that they're needed. Even worse, at no time does the addict or his caseworker indicate that he's in rehab, which I'm pretty damn sure is also a requirement, unless Buck is supposed to let an unrepentant drug abuser have unrestricted access to ''explosive gases.'' Hank helps Buck get around the law by quitting, thus reducing the work force to a level where they somehow don't have to comply with federal law anymore. And the worst part of all is that we're supposed to side with Buck and Hank. Mike Judge has never let reality get in the way of a good plot (see the "national sperm bank" line in ''Beavis and Butthead Do America''), but this is just stupid.

** I wouldn't consider Lucky "Jerry Springer material" he's may be slow, but not the typical White trash people like his friends. One of my favorite episodes had Lucky prevented a teenage boy who was dancing with Luanne from getting beat up by his more violent friends. Instead of using of violence he accessed the situation calmly. He also has a strong moral foundation almost equal to Hank.

* In the episode "The Peggy Horror Show", they introduce a one shot drag queen/cross dresser named Carolyn/Jamie. Up until the last episode I kept hoping they'd bring her back as at least a minor reoccurring character. She was very down to earth without being boring, and could have provided the running gag of Hank not realizing Jamie and Carolyn are the same person, as well as provided Peggy with a much needed fresh point of view.
