** Maybe the powder can work against illusions, but not to actual brainwashing caused by physical alteration of the brain (I always assumed the Gochong's control is something like this). And maybe it's smart enough to try to knock off your helmet during the combat. Or the helmet doesn't cover the nape, who knows.
