* How much of "Arnold Visits Arnie" was a dream? The episodes ends with Arnold waking up in his room, going to the baseball field where his friends are and Helga says she thought he was visiting his cousin.
* In "Cool Jerk" Arnold accidentally beans Harold in the face with a dodgeball, Harold tries to beat him up, and the other kids try to stop him. How come they didn't do the same in "24 Hours to Live?" In the latter, they were egging on a fight.
* The names Helga and Olga. Olga is the Slavic version of Helga. Their parents gave them essentially the same name! It would be like naming your children John and Johan. As seen under the FridgeBrilliance section, though, this could be a reflection of Bob's and Miriam's ParentalFavoritism toward Olga and treatment of Helga as nothing but an imperfect copy of her older sister.

** Some kids hit puberty early in life. It is also worth mentioning that Jamil Walker Smith, who voiced Gerald, reached puberty around the time this episode was made. The creators of the show were able to work with that, and the end result was a memorable episode for many.

** Maybe the artists deliberately made him a caricature of the stereotypical schoolyard bully. His physical stature is exaggerated a bit, but maybe they are painting him tougher than he really is. In other words, we see him as big and intimidating as the fourth graders see him, not as he actually is.

!!!Ain't no social services, really.

***To answer the initial point, while they ain't the best, Helga's parents are doing what's in legal requirements to not have them intervene, as she's fed, bathed, clothed, and sheltered in a house with functional utilities and she's not being abused more so (not that emotional neglect isn't harmful), though, her getting therapy could imply that maybe they (prolly) did intervene in some way.

**If memory serves, the dude wasn't blind (he did seem to see and know that Harold is fat with his line about Harold "sucking up the air"), so the dog might've been just a pet. That said, while ADA acknowledges service dogs, the law doesn't say that you can't train your ''pet'' dog to be a service dog, as people often do.

***Actually, BPD tends not be diagnosed until the person is 18 or older because, given the nature of the personality disorders (they're [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egosyntonic_and_egodystonic egosyntonic]]), the patient tends to not see that they have a condition and so can't be made to seek treatment (getting treatment for minors means they can be made to participate in treatment until the therapist/doctor stops seeing them or their parents stop the treatment). That said, Helga is self-aware to know she has problems (egodystonic) but she doesn't act on that self-awareness, so, whether she be 18 or not, she likely wouldn't be diagnosed with BPD.

!!!Harold's weight

***Another thing to note is that, when it comes to weight loss, people mostly address the dietary aspects of it but not activity, stress, age, or that individual's insides (their body chemistry), so a lot of weight loss campaigns and the like tend to fail. In the case of Harold, besides stress, that weight loss cruise probably wouldn't have worked because it didn't address any other facets to his weight gain.

!!!Tutoring Torvald

* In the episode, “Suspended”, after seeing Wolfgang get suspended by Principal Wartz for spraying the hall-ways with the fire extinguisher. Harold knocks on Principal Wartz’s office with same extinguisher to spray Wartz but fails to as it’s empty. Wartz doesn’t get angry and suspend Harold on the spot instead THANKS Harold for “reminding” him to refill the extinguisher and brushes him off to class. Then Harold gets disappointed saying “That stupid dork was supposed to suspend me!” Wartz comes back out of his office to question Harold if he called him a “stupid dork.” Which Harold says yes and Wartz suspends him over ''that'' instead of the fact Harold was trying to assault him with the fire extinguisher. My question is, why would Wartz consider a petty insult a more serious offense than the fact that Harold tried to blatantly assault him being the school authority? Also when he does suspend Harold, why didn’t he call Harold’s parents to let them know he was suspended? And also the fact that he didn’t consider I.S.S. due to the fact that Harold was ''deliberately'' trying to get suspended to get out of going to school?

to:

**She probably does, otherwise, she wouldn't be having Arnold tutoring him. As far why the possibility wasn't addressed, perhaps, Torvald's parents don't want to address it.
!!!Skewed priorities.
