** This is explained by the Shadow Prince. Zorl-Stissa didn't create dragons, but turned them into lizardmen.

*** The idea came from hypothetical situations. Methinks they were looking for a scapegoat.scapegoat - after all, plenty of people want him dead, and he suggested the use of Deathfog, but he probably had no idea just what deathfog actually did or what it was like. So you take the lines out of context and voila - you got a good reason to get Elves to want to kill him too and take the blame for it.

* Why does Lohse only sing at the end of her personal quest when she is a companion? How hard could it be to add the same one-time cutscene hook to the "Use" command on her lute when playing as her as your main avatar?

** Fixed in the Definitive Edition: Lohse can now sing at any moment once her quest is finished, by using her luth.

** Source isn't made from the hole in the veil, Source was the veil. To be precise, Source already existed in smaller quantities on Rivellon, but the Seven came about after Fane discovered a veil a pure Source separating the world from the void, which the Seven consumed to become god-like beings. That's why liberating the Source from the sourcerers is necessary to restore the veil / barrier between Rivellon and the Void. The Voidwoken are the Eternals the Seven banished to the Void, who formed a pact with creatures of the Void in exchange for the power to retake Rivellon. The Void Dragon wasn't a Voidwoken, but simply a very powerful Void creature, native to that dimension.

** It's easy to reconcile if you consider that Dallis and Lucian could be wrong. The first game states that the Source was there from the beginning and may even predate the Seven. If the Seven are indeed responsible for the Tear then it's their fault, not Astarte's, that the Void Dragon got into Rivellon and had to be sealed away the first time. Since they didn't tell Astarte (who was not one of the Seven and thus didn't know about it) what happened, the Trife was able to trick her into letting it loose again, corrupting the Source. The Seven obviously wouldn't want to let anybody know about the fact they almost destroyed the universe twice, especially since their mess was cleaned up by mortals both times, they're going to do all they can to suppress their own involvement with it. If that means throwing Astarte under the bus and lying about the Source's role in things, so be it. As for the Trife, it was just the Void Dragon's chief minion and was killed during the events of Original Sin, likely replaced later by the God King.

After several thousand years of misinformation and obfuscation, it's possible that the information that the Void wasn't always connected to the Source simply no longer exists. As for the Trife, it was just Trife and the Void Dragon's chief minion and was killed during the events of Original Sin, Dragon, it's likely replaced later by they were some of the God King.first and most powerful Voidwoken, with the Trife likely being a Voidwoken demon and the Void Dragon being a Voidwoken, well, dragon.

* How is the use of Deathfog against the elves fault? He only suggested it under the context of hypotheticals.

* Red Prince's quest is all about how the Lizardfolk used to be dragons. But much of the game hinges on the Lizardfolk, like all races, having been created by the gods. But Divinity 2 reveals that "True Dragons" (as opposed to Dragon Knights, who are mortals who turn into Dragons), are god-like extraplanar beings whose mere names alter creation itself.

* I am confused as how the new revelations about Source, The Void and the God King fit in relation to the stuff in the first Original Sin. If Source is made from the hole the Seven tore into the veil between Rivellon and the Void, (As Lucian and Dallis explain, hence getting rid of all sourcerers to restore the veil), how does Astarte, the goddess of Source, fit into this? Was the Void Dragon a Voidwoken? What about The Trife?
