* Film/TheTrumanShow: Meryl Burbank is Truman's wife in the show but in the movie's reality she is the RichBitch known as Hannah Gill. While her Jerkass attitude can be explained from being forced to sleep and pretend to marry a man she does not love, it does not excuse her being a BitchInSheepsClothing. She absolutely does not care about Truman's well-being and doesn't even try to support him even when he's distressed. Even Christof can be somewhat admired for his technological/showrunning genius, Meryl is just unpleasant through and through.

His cultured facade is nothing more than a sham, as shown by his violent reaction after Schultz called him "Mister" rather than "Monsieur", and is implied to be nothing short of envious that Schultz actually displays more culture than he does. In addition, Candie's seemingly profound interest of France is proven to be a skin-deep farce, as he barely has as much knowledge as he presents of the country (he didn't know that his favourite author Alexandre Dumas was black), let alone speak French.

** Film/TheSilenceOfTheLambs & Film/RedDragon: Dr. Frederick Chilton is the smug and slimeball slimy psychiatrist running the Baltimore State Hospital where Lecter is imprisoned and proves to be a far more detestable and irritating person than even the cannibalistic SerialKiller himself--constantly trying to get attention and publicity from the "Tooth Fairy" and "Buffalo Bill" cases respectively. When Lecter has done things like withheld info about the cases; impeded them or killed someone else--even the prisoner who sexually molested FBI trainee Clarice Starling, Chilton has resorted to petty punishments like taking away mutliple privileges such as his drawings; books and even his toilet seat while also playing an insufferable gospel program in front of him at high volume too. Upon secretly listening to his recording of one of Lecter and Starling's conversations--in which Starling lied about offering Lecter a deal, Chilton rats the FBI out to Senator Ruth Martin to get them removed from the case while he brokers a deal to be able to take control and get the focus on himself instead. After Lecter's escape in part thanks to Chilton's reckless actions, Chilton tries to flee the country to make sure he's safe, only for Lecter to secretly follow him, fully intent on "having [his] old friend for Dinner."
** Hannibal: Paul Krendler, briefly introduced in The Silence of the Lambs, is a jerkass member of the Department of Justice leading the charge against Starling--now a full agent--when a drug raid she was supposed to be in charge of resulted in a mass shooting. Krendler has a particular grudge against Starling because he hit on her and she rejected the idea of having an extra marital affair with him, shadowing her when she's assigned to simply look through Lecter's old files when she's demoted and threatening to find any small infraction he can to get Starling kicked out of the agency altogether if she's difficult. Krendler then immediately agrees to a hefty bribe offered to him by Mason Verger later on to frame Starling as having kept a love letter Lecter "sent" her to be able to futher shame and disgrace her and so Verger can dangle her misery in front of Lecter to trap him as well. Even abducted and drugged by Lecter, Krendler still cannot bring himself to be anything but disrespectful to Starling, resulting in Lecter cutting off the top of his head, removing part of his brain and then cooking it to save for later--even feeding Krendler himself a little bit of it too.
