Moffett, who sought to have Trivette removed from the Texas Rangers after he was [[TurnInYourBadge placed on administrative leave]] after a six-year-old boy was caught in the crosshairs of a shootout between Trivette and an armed robber he and Walker were pursuing. The reason being throughout their careers in the Texas DPS, Moffett and Trivette were both up for being named Ranger and the former was passed over in favor of the latter. Despite Trivette's HeroicBSOD, Walker was able to snap him out of it and prove that the armed robber shot the kid rather than him, and Moffett was forced to issue a public apology.

He confronts Ida about it, rather putting her off. Note that Doctor Behring is jealous, too, but he's a lot more gracious about it towards Ida -- he'd rather openly offend Tischendorf in the auditorium.

This doesn't stop him from feeling sorry about her [[spoiler:apparent death]] at the end of the episode. Sherlock himself suffers from the Green-Eyed Monster whenever something other than the case they're working on distracts John.

She uses her powers to kidnap the fiancee and take her place at the wedding. Luckily Leo is able to snap Paige out of it before the wedding is completed.
