** Johnny Lawrence's son Robby Keene despises his father's main karate student, Miguel Diaz, as he sees Johnny using Miguel to get the father-son relationship he could never accomplish with Robby. In season 1, seeing Johnny giving his gi to Miguel (as a reward for beating up Kyler's crew at school) drives Robby to take a job at Daniel [=LaRusso=]'s auto dealership to spite his father. He eventually gets over it thanks to Daniel's teachings. But it quickly surfaces again in Season 2 as he begins to fall for Daniel's daughter Sam, who happens at this point to be Miguel's ex-girlfriend. Robby reacts increasingly badly to Miguel's attempts to reconcile with Sam, culminating in him breaking Miguel's spine in the season 2 finale after losing his temper with his rival's attempts to show mercy. During his time in juvie, his resentment towards Miguel only increases as Johnny blows off a visit to be with Miguel's family, leaving him open to manipulation from John Kreese. When he gets out of juvie late in season 3 and catches Sam having an intimate moment with Miguel, he tries to attack Miguel again, and when Sam inevitably steps in to defend Miguel, Robby decides to throw his lot in with Kreese to spite both his dad and Daniel.
** Upon joining Cobra Kai in season 2, Tory Nichols falls for Miguel, and is very upset when she finds out that he still has feelings for Sam, who Tory already hates for her privileged background. she meets Sam who seemingly doesn't have a care in the world, proudly claims she's a thief to her and then gets furious when Sam (incorrectly) accuses her of stealing her mother's wallet.Actually the work of Trey and Cruz, Robby's former delinquent accomplices She quickly develops a crush on Miguel, then finds out Sam is Miguel's ex-girlfriend. Their next interaction is at 80's night where Tory's working hard whilst Sam's out on date, which makes Tory angry, and she's insecure enough about Miguel's efforts to reconnect with Sam that she trips Sam for just talking to Miguel. She taunts Sam into a dangerous drinking game at Moon's party and loses to her (which makes her even angrier). Then she witnesses Miguel cheat on her with Sam, which is just the final straw. On the first day of school, she storms into the school's announcer's office, assaults the teacher, hijacks the intercom, and calls out Sam for a fight wherein Tory's actively trying to maim her. Tory loses that challenge to Sam as well, and bolts before she finds out about Miguel. She's expelled from school for her actions and placed on probation. Rather than let go of her grudge and stitch her life back together, the only lesson she takes from this is that the judicial system is rigged by the rich people to punish the poor, as everyone other than Robby and her get away scot-free from the school brawl. Miguel takes issue with her over that fact (understandable, as he got severely injured while Tory only got knocked down a flight of stairs by Sam) but Tory can't believe anyone from Cobra Kai would go against her, and learning from Kreese that Miguel is back with Sam and helped save the All-Valley Tournament prompts Tory to lead a gang assault on Sam and her Miyagi-Do peers in her house and beat her up with nunchucks, while siccing Kyler to attack a still recovering Miguel.
** In season 1, when Miguel sees Robby having dinner with the [=LaRussos=] (on Daniel's invitation) and witnesses Sam laugh with him over Daniel's training methods, he gets jealous. Then when Sam doesn't answer his texts the next day and sees Robby escorting Sam to the Cobras' beach party (in reality, Sam had been grounded and her mom had taken away her phone, and Robby brought her to the party so she could tell Miguel what happened), he gets drunk and tries to fight Robby.

** Oh come on, Talyn gets all his ideas and feelings from Crais, pretty much. He's just a very powerful baby who wanted his Mummy and Daddy to stay together - though, admittedly, the isn't something most toddlers would come up with.

** Finally, Mara got nasty during the end of season 3, when she bullied Joy over falling for Jerome. She had meant to just have her friend pretend to like him as revenge for him cheating on her with Willow, but instead the two of them actually fell for each other. Mara revealed she was jealous soon after, calling Jerome her boyfriend and getting mad at Joy for liking him. Eventually they reconciled, and like the other cases, she helped Jerome and Joy get back together.

* One of the longest running jokes in Series/EverybodyLovesRaymond is how much Robert envies his brother, Raymond. In his rants, he would talk about how "Everybody loves Raymond", how his mother favors Ray over him, how successful Ray is compared to him, and how he has a better life than him (at least in his eyes). It gets to the point that whenever Ray fails at something or doesn't get what he wants, Robert finds joy in this and openly mocks him for his shortcomings.

** In general, Beckett seems prone to struggling with her inner-teenager-with-a-case-of-this whenever other women attract Castle's attention. Castle, of course, returns the favour whenever other men take an interest in Beckett.

*** In Season 1, it's hinted that he's jealous of Daenerys's husband, Khal Drogo.
*** In Season 2, it's clear that he feels uncomfortable when Xaro Xhoan Daxos is near Daenerys. It just worsens when he learns about Xaro's marriage proposal.
*** Although not in a romantical sense, he is jealous of Ser Barristan Selmy.
*** Of particular note, in Season 3, he sees the mutual attraction between Daenerys and Daario Naharis, which he doesn't approve of at all. In Season 4, he becomes deeply hurt when he sees the half-dressed Daario leaving Daenerys' chambers in the morning. According to the WordOfGod, 'he is both incredibly jealous and a bit angry with Daenerys for falling for a man he considers so unworthy of her.'
*** As of Season 7, the list of rivals just doesn't end when, as soon as he is reunited with Daenerys and returns to her service, he catches a glimpse of the increasing attraction between her and Jon Snow, who is of similar age to
