** ''VideoGame/FalloutNewVegas'' and its [=DLCs=] feature a really weird version. Father Elijah, Dr. Klein and Ulysses form a BigBadEnsemble of their own, but each of them possesses enough power (through control of Old World technology or just plain nuclear missiles) to trivially erase both the NCR and the Legion from the Mojave and thus [[ConflictKiller render the core conflict of the main game irrelevant]]. However, they're all restricted to the DLC sections of the game (though they're all involved in each other's plans), and so they're not seriously involved in the main conflict unless the PC chooses to get involved with them.

*** That said, where Chara [[AmbiguouslyEvil stands is a matter of debate]]. The fact that their actions are given little context doesn't help, either, making it nigh impossible to classify them as a villain or a failed GreaterScopeParagon. They committed suicide in an extremely slow and painful manner to help monsterkind, they tried to get Asriel to fight back as opposed to dying at the humans' hands (fighting back would've caused another war, though Asriel's death had pretty major consequences as well), and when they appear in the Genocide Route they are implied to have lost their soul just like Flowey, making it impossible to tell how much of their cruelty and megalomania were present from the start. All that is known about them for certain is that they hated humanity, were a worse person than Frisk was in the Pacifist Route, and they are clearly evil in the Genocide Route.

** The second villain reveals themselves if the player takes the Genocide route. Chara, the First Child, the instigator of nearly every single bad thing that happens in the game's backstory, and the one person Flowey/Asriel is doing everything that he's doing for. If the player completes the Genocide route, they fulfill their desire to systematically murder and destroy everyone and everything in the Underground, before they erase all of existence and move on to the next iteration of the timeloop (and resetting the game from that point on requires the player to sell their soul to them, permanently tainting all future playthroughs so that they always win in the end).
*** That said, where Chara [[AmbiguouslyEvil stands is a matter of debate]]. The fact that their actions are given little context doesn't help, either, making it nigh impossible to classify them as a villain or a failed GreaterScopeParagon.
** Then there's Gaster, who invented a phase-shifter to escape the magic barrier; it failed miserably and Gaster fell into the source code of the world, causing the disappearance of monsters who happen to know about him. They're heavily implied to be behind ''VideoGame/{{Deltarune}}'', as trying to use their name at any time causes an instant game crash.

* ''VideoGame/SilentHill'' has Dahlia Gillespie, the BigBad who abused her daughter Alessa and used rituals to bring her cult's god into the world. Although Dahlia does get killed, her influence also extends to the main villains in ''VideoGame/SilentHill3'' and ''VideoGame/SilentHill4TheRoom''. In the former, her cult is still seeking out Heather (Alessa reborn) to summon their god, which is what Claudia Wolfe tries to achieve. In the latter, Walter Sullivan gets the idea from Dahlia to perform the 21 Sacraments to bring his mother back, but said ritual is actually Dahlia's backup plan to summon the cult's god.
