An excellent example of this is in "The Straw That Broke Two-Brains' Back" when Becky doesn't want to be interrupted from watching her show and thus she briefly dons the [=WorldGirl=] persona to go on TV and interrupt the program for an IntimidationDemonstration that consists of her effortlessly crushing an I-beam as if it were made of paper, giving a clear message to any villain who thinks of committing crimes in the next few hours. The Butcher sees that and [[KnowWhenToFoldEm immediately takes the hint]]. As some fans have joked, Becky COULD easily murder all her villains in one go... ''she just chooses not to.''

** He seems to have it in for Tobey, often engaging in petty taunting. For example, one time Dr. Two-Brains called attention to Tobey having a "silly schoolboy crush" on [=WordGirl=], triggering this exchange:

* The Butcher's word mispronunciations are always amusing, but the best ones have to be when he actually says a different word instead, completely changing the meaning of his statement. The best example would have to be in "Granny's Book Club". After Granny catches [=WordGirl=] and brings her and Huggy to the Villain Association to prove she doesn't have to retire, he proclaims "Now she doesn't have to respire!" [=WordGirl=]'s deadpan correction and definition of "respire" just makes it even better.

** He seems to have it in for Tobey, often engaging in petty taunting. For example, when Tobey insists loudly he does NOT love [=WordGirl=], the narrator chimes in with a childish "Do to, do to, do to!"
