* This exchange between Denise and Cooper following an encounter with Audrey:
-->Cooper: Denise, I would assume you're no longer interested in girls. \\
Denise: Coop, I may be wearing a dress, but I still pull my panties on one leg at a time, if you know what I mean. \\
Cooper: (smiling serenely) Not really.\\

* Coop is rescued from a hostage situation with Jean Renault in the most absurd, Looney Tunes-esque way possible. He's traded himself to Jean for the freedom of Ernie, a mole, and Denise, an agent working with him, both of whom subdued after their planned sting went south. With thecoos and agents not sure how to get out of a police standoff where Cooper is on the line regardless of outcome, proceedings are interrupted by Denise strolling up to the farmhouse door in a waitress uniform from the Double R café. She gets let in and doesn't say a word before letting Cooper grab the gun strapped to her thigh, at which point the two agents proceed to take out the criminals. The sheer fact that a sexy waitress costume would divert suspicion enough for the criminals to let someone into the scene of what any person would know is a glaring police standoff is ridiculous, particularly since waitresses don't make house calls. There's added comedy in the fact that Denise had not much earlier been in the house with the criminals dressed in drag as her pre-transition self, indicating they didn't recognize her at all once she showed up in the waitress uniform. Denise made a smart move that could only work with the absolute stupidest people!

** Log Lady: "Wait for the tea. The fish aren't running."

to:

** Either this is an alarming likelihood in Twin Peaks or the Log Lady: Lady picked up on this incident, since in later episode, she tells Coop and Truman at her cabin to "Wait for the tea. The fish aren't running."
