* In one episode, Badger organises a production of ''Theatre/ThePiratesOfPenzance'', and during rehearsals, Toad (who is playing the Sergeant of Police) bursts into an impromptu and off-key rendition of ''Theatre/TheMikado''. Later in the same episode we're shown a montage of all the characters rehearsing their parts. Toad is shown during this montage strutting about on his dining-room table, singing "Tu-rah, tu-rah, tu-rah, a-something-something-something..." which he then pronounces "good enough."

* Ratty correcting Toad's grammar ("teach them" instead of "learn them"), only for Badger to object because he says "learn them" as well, and if it's good enough for him it must be good enough for Toad.

Poor Rat then retreats into a corner and begins repeating the phrases incessantly until Badger snaps at him once again to cut it out.

* Toad seeing a monster in the Wild Wood. Then when Badger comes to visit, Toad asks him if he's seen the monster and if it's eaten anyone. That's when we find out what the "monster" really is.
--> '''Badger:''' I think you must be feverish, Toad. Cause destruction it may, render us homeless it may, but will a steam traction engine ''eat'' anybody?
** And then Toad pretends to have known it wasn't really a monster all along, and [[BlatantLies claims he was asleep for all the previous conversation]].
