Swapping to "August" since "Gus" is specifically a nickname given to him by Kit post-marriage, and this story takes place well before that.

* Gus Fenwick is completing his training by applying to study with a mystic master of mind arts and tries to greet the man in the local dialect. Polite, but rather butchered and unnecessary since the reclusive mystic speaks perfect, colloquial English.

* Rashan gives Gus his signature red mask and name "The Red Panda." It's a grand moment in the Red Panda Lore, until this classic moment of scientific precision. You get the impression that Rashan and the Flying Squirrel would get along well.

* Kit points out that if everyone has a counterpart in the alternate timeline, than Baboon McSmoothie, Man of a Thousand Faces, must have a counterpart in their own time line. The Red Panda, having not got along well with McSmoothie, is aghast at the the though.
** Even funnier in season five when the Red Panda is mistaken for a Brian McSweeney, Man of a Thousand Faces, confirming the counterpart exists.

'''Parker:''' ''(thoughtfully)'' You know I believe he did. Static shoes? Are you telling me he's been wearing static shoes all this time?!
* Everyone from the Rangers to Doc Rocket to Professor Von Schlitz is convinced or knows that Fenwick is the Red Panda. In Von Schlitz's case, all it takes is a guy wearing a mask showing up and ruining his day for him to guess who it must be.
---> '''Von Schlitz:''' The Red Panda! Not again! Not now!\\
'''Fenwick:''' Oh don't you start!
* Earlier, Doc Rocket, who knows Fenwick in his civilian identity, assures the Rangers that while Fenwick is a highly trained spy, he's not a superhero. Later, when Fenwick questions him about this spy program, Rocket admits that Fenwick actually is the Red Panda and he was just saying otherwise to maintain the secret identity.

* Andy Parker wakes up at two in the morning and can't go back to sleep, so he decides to get a glass of milk. Only the Red Panda is there, and he drank the last of the milk. Why he did this is unexplained, so either the man in the mask who faces down eldritch horrors and strikes terror into the hearts of mobsters felt like some milk or he did it just to mess with Parker. Either way, you get the mental image of the Red Panda drinking a glass of milk, which is hilarious.

[[AC: The Shadow Hunter]]
* The Red Panda is trying to convince Kit that she has to be the bait for the were-saber tooth because she's attractive, without actually saying that he thinks she's attractive. Kit is, as usual, teasing him, but when the standard "Kit Baxter, behave yourself," comes:
--> '''Kit:''' No. I'll stand here in pitch-black as tiger bait to save the city, but by golly you're going to say it's because I look darn good in a steel-grey unitard and no self-respecting monster could keep his paws off me!
The Red Panda is saved from this admission only by the un/timely appearance of the tiger.
* When the tiger shows up, the Red Panda tells Kit to do whatever she usually does to get a man's attention, leading to a moment of muttered honesty. How the Red Panda could have remained oblivious for as long as he did is a mystery.
--> '''Kit:''' Dress up like a rodent and jump off buildings?

[[AC: The Deadliest Game]]
* Kit retraces the steps the Red Panda took to find out what happened to her and finds the low-level criminal the rather ruthlessly shook down when he discovered said criminal had betrayed the Flying Squirrel. Kit finds this show of concern sweet and of course uses to to ruthlessly tease the Red Panda. The Panda's "Kit Baxter, behave yourself," sounds just a bit desperate.

* The Red Panda, Dr. Chronopolous and the Genie have to work together to build a defense against a Nazi superweapon about which they know only that it's based on a specific magical artifact and nothing has worked against it so far. The conflicting personalities is hilarious enough on its own. Of particular note is when they finally pull together and manage to re-engineer the weapon (an impregnable force-field) they need to take down so they can test their counter-defenses on it and after the initial enthusiasm of the success realize an important fact:
