* Kazuko's meltdown at the beginning flip-flops between creepy and hilarious, especially considering the reactions of the students in attendance: [[SeenItAll none]]. According to Madoka, this is a common occurrence these days. In fact, Kyoko looks almost bored. Then Kazuko snaps out of it to introduce Homura to the class, and [[BigLippedAlligatorMoment no-one ever mentions it again.]]

* Kazuko's Saotome's meltdown at the beginning flip-flops between creepy and hilarious, especially considering the reactions of the students in attendance: [[SeenItAll none]]. According to Madoka, this is a common occurrence these days. In fact, Kyoko looks almost bored. Then Kazuko snaps out of it to introduce Homura to the class, and [[BigLippedAlligatorMoment no-one ever mentions it again.]]]]
* When Homura subtly shows off her soul gem in front of the class, Kyoko and Madoka are surprised, while Sayaka is ''gaping'' in a comedically exaggerated manner. While that is funny enough on its own, once the viewer knows that Sayaka knows everything, it instead becomes a case of BadBadActing, showing that Sayaka is just not that good at feigning surprise.

* Looking closely, one realizes that the people in Homura's labyrinth who are real are people she would be closely familiar with during the timeloops; Her fellow magical girls, Hitomi and Kyosuke, her teacher whom she would've seen every day... and Nakazawa, the student always called on to answer the teacher's rambles. It's unclear why Homura subconsciously considered ''Nakazawa'' important enough to include.

** It's less funny if you think about the symbolism of how Sayaka became a witch in the anime.
*** Even less if you remember what Kyubey does to Grief Seeds, and therefore, Soul Gems.

Added DiffLines:

** The sheer FridgeLogic of the scene. While part of Sayaka's dialogue will become obvious later, as she's reassuring Homura that she doesn't blame her for creating the labyrinth they're in, she also clearly goes out of her way to be creepy about it and has no reason to reveal that she's a gestalt of Sayaka and Oktavia. It's possible that she did it purely to fuck with Homura.

Added DiffLines:

** FridgeBrilliance kicks in when you realize that Homura hasn't seen Sayaka as part of the Law of Cycles yet (or rather, she ''has'', but Sayaka hasn't properly revealed herself yet.) Because of this, the last time Homura saw Sayaka was before Madoka's CosmicRetcon. Given how [[HonorBeforeReason bone-headed]] Sayaka was back in the original series, it's not surprising Homura saw her this way.

** The ballerina familiars cheering on the Nightmare (one even has a pair of pom-poms) as it flies through the city.

** How about the fact that, at least until the façade drops, Kyubey became a ''[[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} pokemon]]''
