* Ninotchka's "execution" scene where she felt as if she had to be punished for betraying her Russian ideals and being happy and in love. Leon stood the tipsy Ninotchka up against a wall, blindfolded her with the napkin, and then removed a champagne bottle's cork with a loud pop - she reacted as if shot, sinking to the floor and saying the above caption's quote

* At a cafe, Leon tries to get Ninotchka to laugh by trying to tell her a series of jokes, one of which gets the others in the cafe to laugh (a man asks a waiter for a cup of coffee without cream; five minutes later, the waiter returns and says, "I'm sorry, sir, but we're out of cream; would you take one without milk?"), but Ninotchka refuses to laugh. In frustration, Leon leans back in his chair and ends up falling down against the table behind him, ending up on the floor. That's when Ninotchka starts to laugh (along with the other patrons of the cafe).

* This exchange between Ninotchka and a train porter:
-->'''Ninotchka:''' Why do you want to carry my bags?
-->'''Porter:''' That is my business.
-->'''Ninotchka:''' That is no business. That's social injustice.
-->'''Porter:''' That depends on the tip.
