* The sound that Jamie's "pop gun" makes after it's modified to fire grenades for During the "shoot a grenade out of the air" myth. It myth, Jamie's "pop gun" is modified to fire rubber paint grenades. During a low pressure test-fire, it makes an adorable little "''Bloop!''" sound that makes the [=MythBusters=] lose it.it.
** The above sound effect simply doesn't do it enough justice, it must be heard.

* In the same episode as "Bull in a China Shop," Adam and Jaime are testing bullets cooking off, literally. First, unsecured ammunition in an oven. They'll blow, but not with enough force to make it out of the oven's steel walls, or even through the double-paned glass window. ''Chambered'' ammunition is another story, depending on caliber, it'll punch through glass, steel, and still retain lethal force. Lastly, they test dumping bullets in a campfire, which is ''exactly'' as bad an idea as it sounds. In great case of real-world comic timing, after the initial flurry of bursting bullets, Adam and Jaime debate how to proceed. They're behind their ballistic glass shields, with particle board wedges surrounding the campfire to catch the bullets and gauge their lethality.
--->'''Adam''': Okay, now I'm worried that the fire coals could set fire to our uprights. So I'm inclined to wait a few minutes, but then head in with a hose.\\
'''Jaime''': Why don't we unhinge one of these blast chambers and walk out with it?\\
'''Adam''': I feel like we can get close enough with this. The other thing is, is that--\\
''(BANG!)''\\
'''Adam''': ''(StunnedSilence)''\\
'''Jaime''': ''(nervous chuckle)''\\
'''Adam''': Alright. Let's walk with one of these ahead of us!

--->'''Adam''': What? That's not a pirate thing! Get out of here.
* In "Hindenberg Mystery," as Adam and Jaime look into whether or not the dope (paint) on the airship's skin was ''actually'' responsible for it burning up because it contained the ingredients for a thermite reaction, instead of the hydrogen, the build team are investigating whether or not running in a zig-zag pattern is better to escape if a crocodile chases you.
** In small-scale testing for the main myth, a square foot of unpainted cloth takes over five minutes to burn (the entire Hindenberg burned up in '''34 seconds'''). They try the dope formula from the bottom half (which has no possibility of the thermite reaction), it burns a bit quicker, but still slowly. Then they try the dope from the top half, which included two of the ingredients for thermite. . . and it burns ''slower'' than the unpainted cloth. Finally, just because, they mix actual thermite into a paint, and try that. They light it. . . and nothing happens. Adam and Jaime turn away, talking among themselves about what to do next, a cameraman gets right up close, ''and then'' the thermite reaction starts, the cloth going up in a huge gout of flame and sparks, the camerman backing away hastily.
** None of it is really conclusive, so they try adding hydrogen to the mix in small scale. The first test, Adam lights a painted cloth stapled over a box pumped full of hydrogen, and it ''explodes''. One of the few times Adam is struck speechless, only able to hesitantly ask if everyone's okay.
--->'''Narrator''': Uh, [[BringMyBrownPants fresh pants]] for Mr. Savage, please.
** Kari, Grant, and Tory fly to Florida to visit a crocodile farm and get their zig-zag run testing underway. Kari reads off the location intro, crocodiles all around.
--->'''Kari''': We are now here in Florida, at St. Augustine Alligator Farm, and they're crazy enough to let us try our Buster rig on some of these alligators and crocodiles.\\
''(alligator hissing in the background, Kari turns to look, then turns to their guide)''
'''Kari''': ''(nervous)'' What does it mean when they hiss?\\
'''David Kledzik, Keeper, St. Augustine Alligator Farm''': When they hiss they feel a little threatened, because you're getting a little bit too close to 'em, so they're kinda unhappy with your presence right now.\\
'''Kari''': ''([[OhCrap very concerned look]])'' '''They're unhappy?'''

** Sadly this wasn't shown in the episode but one of the volunteers threw a LEGO brick at Tory when he told her "less talk, more work!" You can just see her pull back her arm to throw it before the camera cuts.
*** The "volunteer" is actually Kari. Which makes it even funnier, of course.

* Adam's face during the "Chicken Cannon" revisit. He's been maintaining all along that frozen or thawed would make no difference, the math says roughly equal mass and roughly equal velocity yields roughly identical kinetic energy (which is true, but also incidental to ''actual'' myth). After getting inconclusive results firing at foam blocks (apparently due to manufacturing defects in the blocks themselves), Adam just wants to be ''done'' with the myth and doesn't think there's anything left to learn. Jaime insists on another test, firing at twelve panes of glass held in a wooden frame. A thawed chicken breaks two panes (interestingly, the first and fourth). They fire their frozen chicken at a fresh set up of glass, the camera remains fixed on Adam's face. There's a whoosh, a shattering of glass, Adam's jaw drops, and he's ''speechless'' for several seconds, before looking at the camera and saying "Well, that'd be a result!" ''Then'' they finally show that the frozen chicken blasted through all twelve panes of glass, leaving a neat hole, and neatly proving Adam dead wrong. But his dumbfounded expression in those seconds is ''hilarious''.

** Earlier, doing research on the companion myth (if hair cream can explode form a short in a fighter jet cockpit), Grant tries on a full-face helmet for pilots of MIG fighters, including an air-tight neck seal. Getting it on is a struggle even with Tory's help, and Grant clearly feels like he's being choked. Getting it off involved baby powder and all the strength Tory can muster. He ends up planting his knee against Grant's head to yank the collar and seal off, while Grant is covered in baby powder. Grant ends up doubled over and coughing, Tory merely remarks that it all went well. Grant, when he gets his air back, can only shout "THAT SUCKED!"

** It gets its humor back when Adam tries to get his revenge in a later episode by setting off a homemade smoke bomb. [[spoiler:He fails miserably, although the smoke bomb was remarkably resistant to attempts to put it out, which was funny enough on its own.]]

*** Especially when Tory's first reaction, after hooking up the transformer and testing it himself, is to jump around in pain, then immediately declare "We can NOT do that to Adam!" Remember, this is Tory, King of AmusingInjuries, and '''he''' thinks this is too far. Scottie also tests it herself, and also doesn't seem to find it funny at all, declaring it feels like she "just got punched in the chest!"

** Even funnier: The line is actually from ''Film/TheDungeonmaster'', an [=80s=] low-budget fantasy adventure film. Adam got the line at least second-hand, hearing someone he'd worked with in special effects use it, then holding on to it for the right moment, but the guy Adam got the line from doesn't seem to have worked on the film.

** Surprisingly, the babies were quite tactical in their methods of keeping their candy away from the mechanical arm trying to take it from them. Tactics ranging from evasion, to guilt tripping (crying), and grip strength as a last resort.
** At the end of the last test, Adam asks the oldest baby for a high-five. She gives him one. (Sure, it doesn't sound like much, but picture a one-and-a-half-year-old giving a pretty solid high-five for someone of that age. It really is the little things sometimes.)
