With a title like My Gym Partner's a Monkey, it's no surprise that a show like this is going to tell a bunch of jokes. The style of humor for this show is mostly slaptick and toilet humor-based, which is done well, but that doesn't mean there can't be a few smart jokes in there too, which the show has a handful of as well. Although fourth wall jokes were always prominent in the show, the fourth season, MGPIAM started oversaturating these to the point, where the whole show pretty much became a parodic meta-commentary of itself.
