It becomes a more humorous when Dante dismisses them for the work day so they can return to the Back Door in order to continue doing nothing in their rooms, which they've been enduring for several weeks after retrieving the Bough from the Pallid Whale.
* The seagull from the Canto V credits? Apparently it had become the TeamPet for the Sinners, with Gregor being in charge of feeding it. When Ishmael questioned him on why they took it in and said that they eventually have to let it go once they leave the Great Lake, Gregor basically remarks that he cannot say no to the seagull's doe eyes, to which Ishmael confusedly replied that "it's just normal seagull eye".
* Don lamenting how she will be made into a slinky, calling it a "rolly polly" adds some silliness as she, Heathcliff, and Crayon are on the conveyor belt to be turned into toys, as it is indeed a tragic fate but the lament about the type of toy she's to be turned into rather than her permanent death is rather amusing.
* After the Sinners rescue Don, Heathcliff, and Crayon, the parties responsible for the journey into the gnome factory are to kneel on their knees. Dante is about to do so as well, but Outis quickly pulls them away from doing so, despite how upset she was about them putting themselves in danger earlier.

* The way Project Moon's first enterprise within the world of gacha games went deserves a chuckle. The first thing this game developed by a studio of 30 people (10 of which work in their merch cafe) does is [[DemandOverload promptly crash the server]], not being able to support 100,000 people trying to access simultaneously. After the server's online again, several account bugs are patched and rewards are sent out. Then they realize a typo in the beginner's banner so they send out a 10-roll with a free 3*. They test the mailing system again after some compensation was accidentally able to be claimed twice by sending 1 Lunacy...only to send 199 more because they felt bad just sending 1. Then they release the luxcavation dungeons but apply a hotfix within moments after its release.
** Also, it's funny how Project Moon completely plays against every gacha game trope they possibly can. Its Mature/18+ rating is primarily for its intense graphic violence and gore rather than overt fanservice or sexualization (which is especially notable for a Korean gacha game, as a good chunk of them are infamous for being borderline porn), no convoluted progression system, [=PvP=] or random substat, gender-equal cast of playable characters, and a well-defined protagonist that the player has no control over whom the playable characters don't particularly respect, except for one bootlicker that is an [[DeconstructedCharacterArchetype obvious parody]] of the overtly-praising female gacha character. In a time where new gachas have 3D models as the norm, Limbus is completely 2D like older gachas with only some [=Live3D=] on some portraits. Wheras many gacha games have censors on their [[FanService character designs]] that usually causes an uproar when the versions have different art, some of Limbus' promotional art is censored...because of the gore instead. This is perfectly encapsulated by the fact that while the grand majority of gacha games use their cute female poster girl as their app's icon, Limbus Company has Dante's clock head front and center. The funniest part about it? It ''worked'', with the game allegedly earning over one million dollars in revenue during the first month on mobile alone, not counting anything bought on Steam.
* The first trailer for The Magic Hellbus event is so over-the-top happy and bubbly that it invokes this on many fans.

* When searching for the LCCB team leader onboard a U Corp Backstreets settlement, the Sinners go to a club in order to interrogate the Twinhook Pirates syndicate leadership as to the location. When asked if any of them had ever been to a club before, the only one to confirm that they have was ''Meursault'', who had gone clubbing in his search for a bit of happiness.
* The Sinners end up having to deal with [[spoiler:an angry Big Brother from the middle]] who has brought multiple ships with them [[spoiler:not because they had beaten up Smee, who earlier said that killing her would provoke the wrath of the Middle, but because Heathcliff had stolen Ricardo's hair coupon from his safe while they were in his office.]] To show how serious this is, Ricardo's most powerful attack is [[spoiler:an exclamation of My Hair Coupons]] which damages multiple Sinners, all because [[spoiler:Heathcliff took his hair coupons and Ricardo was unable to use the special deal, despite Heathcliff generally not caring about his hair or appearance.]]
** In addition, Heathcliff's justification for stealing from the safe in the first place was because he didn't expect such a high-ranking officer of the Middle to cover their personal safe with colorful kitty stickers, to which Ricardo admonishes Heathcliff for his lack of taste and adds yet another grievance to his name in the Book of Vengeance.
