* The very first scene of the anime is Octocon preying on a farmer’s entire flock of sheep. The monster leaves nothing but bones while the farmer looks on in horror. However, he begins to max out the castle's vault, so Escargoon reluctantly sabotages the Bookems' meal for him to try and stop the nonsense. Unfortunately, Dedede discovers his deceit, chases the poor snail down, and punishes him by forcing [[HoistByHisOwnPetard his own bottle of pepper spice down his throat]]. ** Tiff getting pied, as well. Throughout the episode, every time she's close to taking one to the face, Kirby ends up eating them before they can land. She's understandably miffed that Kirby didn't stop that one; it's like she wanted to go the whole episode without getting hit.
