* Illya almost killed everyone when she nuked Assassin. How does she react when she remembers this and how she defeated the previous card? She teleports away and leaves everyone else dumbfounded.

* After a series of big reveals and dramtic posturing... Comes a chapter of utter hilarity in the middle of what is basically the end of the world.

** In order to enact their plan, [[spoiler:Ruby poisons Illya to put her body into a state of pseudo-death, seperating her body from her consciousness.]] Illya is ''livid'', and Gil-kun finds this ''hilarious''.

* When Shinji's ''actual'' rehabilitation starts, it turns out to be doing odd jobs around Fuyuki City, with [[WeirdnessCensor apparently no one caring that there's a skull-faced tentacle Assassin man running around]]. He turns out to be shockingly competent at all of them... but then inevitably gets thrown out because he [[EveryoneHasStandards can't put a lid on his]] [[ADateWithRosiePalms ejaculation comparisons]].

** The rehabilitation ends with Sakura coming to pick Shinji up... whereupon he does the ejaculation comparison again to get across that he's learned that GoodFeelsGood. Unfortunately, Sakura is upset that his potty mouth ''[[SkewedPriorities specifically]]'' wasn't fixed. Cue another ExtremeMeleeRevenge.

** Manga-only, when Illya & Kuro are bathing only to be 'attacked' by the hand, Ruby and Sapphire are floating outside the open bathroom window, with the former producing a video camera to record the girls bathing... and then Illya chucks the hand out the window and it smacks into Ruby (who she didn't even know was there). Sapphire cheerfully declares this "a new form of anti-peeping".
*** In the anime on one of the Blu-Ray specials, Ruby's attempted peeping is a separate event from the hand madness, so she is free to give the audience a happy dose of {{Fanservice}} by recording all of the heroines with her camera, including Bazett and the newly-recruited Angelica. During her monologue she compares Rin and Luvia unfavorably to the other five girls... [[LaserGuidedKarma and is caught by Rin and Luvia]], who were in earshot and are thoroughly nonplussed. [[MortonsFork If Ruby takes back the comparisons, then she admits that she was peeping on them.]] Cue SnowyScreenOfDeath, capped off by Sapphire deleting the video.

* Kuro and Bazett's entire ordeal during the time Ilya was lost. It involved Bazett constantly giving Kuro tree roots and branches for food, making out for mana, and doing nothing but sitting on the mountain they arrived at for three days.

* Illya and Tanaka having HeartwarmingMoments in the bath -- which is swiftly interrupted by one girl after another joining them in the bath until ''all the girls in the household'' are crammed into the one room. [[CerebusSyndrome As the last page of the chapter foreshadows, it's going to be the last funny moment for a while.]]

** Their justification for the above: that Illya has been gone for ''five years''! While the students are obviously joking, the story's author is not: [[SelfDepreciation Hiroyama is poking fun at his own]] ScheduleSlip, as ''3rei'' has been going on for five years as of Chapter 61.

* Shirou quips that Kirei made him buy a pair of useless Black Keys with high price, definitely referencing the Craft Essences of VideoGame/FateGrandOrder.

** All of Illya's classmates get Kaleid costumes and try to behave as a superhero team... but keep botching their introduction. Taiga comes out to fix it... and apparently her outfit is so bad that it got a {{Pixellation}} censor (badly; anyone remotely familiar with the MagicalGirl genre can tell it's a [[Franchise/SailorMoon Sailor Scout]] outfit). The students are immediately grossed out.

Ruby then injects everyone except Illya and Shirou with powerful sedatives that make them look like golden Buddha statues. Except Tatsuko, who turned into an Asura statue instead, and even growling the background in the anime. Mimi wasn't sedated because [[OutOfFocus Ruby forgot she even existed!]]
