It then turns out that [[BatmanGambit Dad hired the squirrel to try and steal the muffins]], just so he could be the hero and get one. The episode ends with Dad paying him (a bag of nuts), and the two eating together, with Dad now wearing the Muffin King crown from his fantasy.

** Dad's [[FauxHorrific horrified reaction]] to learning they're all out of coffee, and his melodramatic rant about [[MundaneMadeAwesome how important coffee is to grown-ups]]. Not to mention that he catapults awake in a cold sweat just from Dee Dee, who is well out of his earshot, [[MySignificanceSenseIsTingling mentioning that they're out of coffee]].

He aces his French test (the reason he was taking the SleepLearning experiment in the first place) because the only question turns out to be "What is cheese omelette in French?", but then he's called on in Math class... and the correct answer to a question about train times ends up being that they'll meet in the french town of Omelette Du Fromage (which of course does not exist). It cuts to Dexter standing absolutely baffled in the schoolyard during recess and scratching his head over the ridiculous coincidences.

The scene of him changing the country western music on the jukebox to '50s-style bossa nova, followed by his ridiculously dorky dance, just emphasized just how out of place he is there.

* "Snowdown": There's the reveal as to how Dad "lost" his title as "snowball warrior"; Mum had playfully tossed a snowball at him and he [[ComicalOverreacting completely overreacted to it.]]

* The Christmas episode. Dexter vs. Santa Claus!

** When the principal calls for another conference same time tomorrow, we see Dee Dee still impersonating Mom in addition to Dexter pretending to be Dee Dee and annoying Dee Dee by constantly saying "Dee Dee feel dumb" as well as the family dog made to look like Dexter, who just sits there panting and scratching his ear with his hind leg.
