* Tanjiro getting letters from Haganezuka. The letter says that he is done fixing swords for the demon slayer only to have them break again and again. And of course, the letters look as if they were written by a psychotic killer. Which is fitting for a hothead like Haganezuka.

** While the other Hashira are concerned with the situation with the Kamado siblings, Muichiro is wondering about the shape of a cloud.
** Mitsuri fangirling about the other Hashira.

* Chapter 99: After Kokushibo and Akaza return to their places and Gyokko and Hantengu are teleported to the place for their assignment, Doma remains at the Infinity Castle, which prompts him to ask Nakime if she is willing to hang out with him. Her response? "I respectfully decline.", as she teleports Doma back to his place.

* Tanjiro wants to make friends with Genya by asking him about his lost tooth. Genya denies it, claiming that he doesn't lose anything only for Tanjiro to show him said tooth which the latter has picked up to return to the former.

* And when Gyokko reveals his [[OneWingedAngel true form]], he expects Muichiro to behold in awe and wonder, but Muichiro doesn't react. Cue this banter:

Tanjiro's research consists of talking about the features of a cat (and mentioning that males are left handed and females are right handed apparently), but his drawings of a cat are rather... uncanny. Himejima mistakes Tanjiro's bad drawings of a cat as a Tsuchinoko or a deep sea fish.

*** The English dub of the anime has Inosuke [[AskAStupidQuestion outright ask]] [[AccidentalMisnaming Tanpachiro]] how he noticed him on the ceiling, with Tanjiro pointing out the obvious answer.

** Funnier still is the fact that Aoi was [[TenderTears tearful]] when she was telling Tanjiro about Inosuke's condition. However, after TheReveal that he is in no real danger, she is angry at him, for making them worry.

* Chapter 54: Rengoku's second appearance: he's found by Tanjiro eating several boxes of bento on the train while constantly saying how tasty it is. Tanjiro and Zenitsu find him weird.
** The movie adds an OverlyLongGag of nearly one minute of Kyojuro saying "delicious!" ("Umai" in Japanese, "Tasty!" in the English Dub) after every bite.

* A darkly comedic moment happens when Hairo mistakes Kyojuro for his father, the former Flame Hashira who nearly killed him in combat years prior, he immediately starts raving about his excitement to finally enact his vengeance -- but of course, Kyojuro has no idea who he is. The demon is so confused and angry at this lack of a reaction that he pointlessly shoots himself in the head.

** Earlier, Sanemi antagonized and attacked Kyojuro for claiming he could take his father’s place as a Hashira, only to be dumbfounded when Kyojuro refuses to fight back and starts complimenting him instead. The other Hashira watch this unfold, with Shinobu summarizing Kyojuro as a weirdo and Tengen deciding that he likes this new guy.

Yushiro is blank faced even with Tanjiro yelling in his face, still unimpressed and just escorts them to Lady Tamayo while Tanjiro's still yelling at him.

** When Tanjiro tells Zenitsu and Inosuke about Total Concentration Constant, he mentions that while they are doing it, if if rattles their blood, their bones and muscles will go "Boom! Boom" and they need to stop.
** Shinobu has apparently gotten to know Zenitsu and Inosuke well enough that she uses their character traits to motivate them into learning the full breathing technique.

** Haganezuka's back! And he's trying to '''kill Tanjiro''' for breaking his sword. Despite Tanjiro's protests of how strong the demon who broke it was, the angry swordsmith blows it off and squarely blames Tanjiro for being a weakling. Haganezuka then proceeds to chase him while swinging a butcher-knife at him like Norman Bates from Film/{{Psycho}}, while the understandably terrified boy [[ScreamsLikeALittleGirl adorably screeches for his life like a little girl]]. Rubbing salt in the wounds was Shinobu's deadpan commentary watching the fiasco from the side.

Tanjiro is a ''tanuki,'' Zenitsu is a mouse, Nezuko is a rabbit and they all look like characters from a children's cartoon.

** The fact that it's heavily implied that Nezuko's efforts of trying to wake Tanjiro isn't out of fear or concern that her brother and the other passengers are mysteriously under some sleep spell, but apparently [[SkewedPriorities she wants her brother to give her more headpats]].
* Enmu's lackeys are instructed to find the boundaries of his dream worlds for their target, cut through it to enter the subconscious and then destroy their spiritual core to incapacitate the Demon Slayer. While Rengoku's and Tanjiro's subconscious make for some dramatic moments, Inosuke's subconscious is a cave inhabited by a much more bestial version of Inosuke himself, while Zenitsu's subconscious is pitch-black and home to a violent Zenitsu (for some reason wearing [[AnachronismStew modern casual clothes]]--with [[WeaponsOfTheirTrade big garden shears]]) who threatens anyone who isn't Nezuko.

* After Kyojuro asks Tanjiro and the others to look for Enmu and to protect the people in the train, Tanjiro finds Inosuke outside on the train. The latter says that the guy with wide staring eyes (Kyojuro) gave him an order. Then he says that Kyojuro is sorta amazing... and that pisses him off.
* The scene itself is a heartrending tearjerker, as Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are all grief-stricken at [[spoiler: Rengoku dying]]. However, Inosuke nearly pushes the scene into Narm territory. After Inosuke berates the other two boys for crying, Zenitsu points out that Inosuke is also crying, as he can see the tears coming out of his headpiece. Inosuke headbutts Zenitsu and insists he '''isn't''' crying before running away while flailing his swords and sobbing hysterically in what looks like the most epic of temper tantrums.

* The ''literal'' RunningGag of Haganezuka trying to kill Tanjiro with a kitchen-knife for losing his brand new sword ''returns''; and since this time the latter ''threw it away'' (at Akaza) ''on purpose'', he is '''much''' more angry... as in "chasing him with a kitchen knife '''in each hand''' ''and'' '''another two''' tied in his disheveled hair" much more angry. The twicefold ArtShift of hyperrealism accentuating his vein-bulged muscles followed by a crudely-drawn chase-sequence straight out of ''[[WesternAnimation/WileECoyoteAndTheRoadRunner The Road Runner Show]]'' only amps up the absurdity as the crazed swordsmith chases the poor boy for ''hours'' from sunset to sunrise.

* Prevented from taking the Butterfly Estate girls, Uzui takes the ''male'' trio with him instead, to act as servant ''[[DisguisedInDrag girls]]'' in the brothels. The three boys end up being liked by people there for different reasons:

** Zenitsu for being good with instruments. And the madame even assumes that "she" is that good to get revenge at the man who "abandoned her".

** Inosuke got scouted right from the beginning even when his face is covered in ugly makeup. The madam even celebrates 'getting him on the cheap' when they discovered that he is [[DudeLooksLikeALady very pretty-looking]]. But he has to pretend to be mute (which he doesn't enjoy), because his gruff voice will instantly give away that he's a boy.

* Throughout most of the arc, the RunningGag of Uzui getting pissed off and/or hitting Zenitsu and Inosuke whether they question him about something or show annoyance at him.
* Zenitsu is angry at Uzui when he finds out the Hashira took them to find his wives. He mistakes the mission details as Tengen ordering them to find women for him to marry while he did actual work, which Tengen angrily corrects him on.

It gets funnier when ''[[LargeHam Inosuke]]'' [[BloodKnight of all people]] is shocked the entire time.
* Along with Awesome, Zenitsu spending the ''whole'' fight from start to finish against the demons completely asleep/in trance... while still wearing his girl disguise, complete with the piggytails and blush make-up. [[{{Bathos}} The fact that he becomes more competent and serious makes it even more Awesome and Hilarious]].

* Chapter 95: Having spent the fight against Daki and Gyutaro in his trance mode, Zenitsu, when he wakes up, he cries and complains that his whole body hurt and he is unaware why his legs are broken.
** After the fight against Daki and Gyutaro, Uzui is poisoned and waiting to die. He tries to say his last words but couldn't because his wives keep crying, screaming and fighting each other while ignoring him (Suma is sobbing loudly in an over-the-top fashion, Makio is angrily yelling at her to shut up and threatening to stuff rocks in her mouth, and [[TeamMom Hinatsuru]] is trying to calm them both down). His nearly-popping veins say it all.
* Nezuko suddenly sneaks into the little crowd and sets Uzui on fire with her Blood Art (which only burns demons). While she was doing it to burn away Gyutaro's poison, the wives react as expected due to not knowing this.

* A little bit of DarkComedy with a tinge of fond and bittersweet heartwarming, considering the context and [[TearJerker what happens next]]: In their final moments, Daki and Gyutaro arguing and insulting each other for being too weak and having lost. Reactions from readers are all along the line of "Yup, they're siblings, alright."

* Chapter 99: After Kokushibo and Akaza returned to their places and Gyokko and Hantengu were teleported to the place for their assignment, Doma remains at the Infinity Castle, which prompts him to ask Nakime if she is willing to hang out with him. * Chapter 100: While Goto says that he highly respects Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke, when he thinks about the latter, he wonders who the hell he is due to his boar mask.

** Afterwards, Tanjiro inquires on the status of his comrades. Aoi tells him that Zenitsu has already recovered and left, while Inosuke had been horribly poisoned and was on the verge of death. Tanjiro wonders that then he must be hallucinating Inosuke [[CeilingCling clinging on the ceiling]]. Everyone in the room then looks up in horror to witness Inosuke crawling upside down on the ceiling.

** He then brags, how he woke up a week earlier than Tanjiro, because he has poison resistance, so he [[InsaneTrollLogic is immortal]].

* Chapter 101: The Chief of the Swordsmith Village, Tecchin Tecchikawahara, asks Tanjiro to bow his head so low it touches the mat, with Tanjiro immediately doing that.

** According to the narration, the only reason Kotetsu's training was so hellish is because, being as young as he is, he still doesn't quite understand that the human body does have limits and there's no way anyone can survive a week without food, water or sleep. Tanjiro was only able to get through it by drinking raindrops.
* Chapter 105: Hotaru appears from out of nowhere, extremely buffed and is doing a pose that looks like he's preparing to kill someone. Of course, the man only wants to re-forge the sword but the way he's going at it sure is hilariously terrifying.

* Chapter 113: When the demonified Genya threatens Tanjiro and tells him he'll be the one to kill an Upper Rank so he can become a Hashira, Tanjiro isn't fazed and promises that he and Nezuko will give him their full support. Genya assumes that Tanjiro is just trying to make him drop his guard down so he can outdo him, only to stop mid-rant when he realizes that Tanjiro is being completely sincere.

* Right when Tanjiro and the others have weakened Hantengu, but Tanjiro loses his sword before he can successfully finish him off, Muichiro arrives to throw Tanjiro the sword Haganezuka was working on for him. The swordsmith in question clutches Muichiro at chokehold and yells death threats at Tanjiro to ''not'' use the sword. [[SkewedPriorities Never mind that an Upper Rank demon will get away if Tanjiro can't finish him off now, he's not finished with the other steps yet!]] Muichiro proceeds to pass out from the earlier poisoning and exhaustion, causing Kotetsu to claim Haganezuka just ''murdered'' him.

* After gaining resistance to the sun and being able to talk again, Nezuko starts learning words and names little by little. When Zenitsu arrives, he is [[CutenessProximity absolutely happy about this]] and attempts to get Nezuko to marry him once more now that she can talk, while Aoi doesn't tolerate Zenitsu's antics and attempts to turn him down. That is, until Nezuko [[AccidentalMisnaming mistakenly calls him Inosuke]]. Everyone [[{{Beat}} pauses for a moment]], with Aoi and some of the girls looking like they're about to laugh. Cue Zenitsu internally plotting to get back at Inosuke, while everyone else looks in confusion. The next panel then cuts to Inosuke arriving at the Butterfly Estate two days ago due to an injury and ''he'' was the one trying to get Nezuko to say his name, even to calling him "Boss Inosuke", which somewhat happened to work out. It's hilarious and absolutely adorable!
* While recovering at the Butterfly Estate and having to deal with Hotaru's madness once again for his use of the sword against Hantengu leaving permanent scratches, all seemed well for Tanjiro... Until all of a sudden, Inosuke makes a DynamicEntry and breaks through the building window! Gotou scolds at him for doing this and gives him a smack, causing Inosuke to go, [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure "WRYYYYYYYY!"]]. Meanwhile, Genya is quietly annoyed by all of the commotion. Inosuke busted through the window to inform Tanjiro of a training session with "lots of strong people". Tanjiro asks what he meant, to which Inosuke replies with no clue at all.
* The Hashira meeting following the attack on the swordsmith's village has them try to figure out how to get everyone in a marked state. When Tanjiro was unable to explain how to get into the state, Mitsuri steps in. Unfortunately, she's just as bad at explaining things as Tanjiro, which leaves everyone present in silent confusion and bewilderment trying to process what she just said. Even the most stoic of the Hashira.

* Tanjiro going through Muichiro's training area. The sheer contrast of Muichiro's treatment of Tanjiro versus [[TheUnFavourite everyone else]] present is obvious to everyone present except for Tanjiro himself.
* Tanjiro is able to get through most of the Hashira Training areas, but when he reaches to Sanemi's training area, Zenitsu is seen panicking and asks Tanjiro to get him out of there. Suddenly, Sanemi appears right in front of them both, which causes Zenitsu to freak out before Sanemi knocks him out and tells Tanjiro to bring him back to the training area.

* During the argument between both brothers Genya and Sanemi, Tanjiro is eavesdropping and quietly rooting for Genya. When Genya reveals that he's been consuming demon flesh to become stronger, this pisses off Sanemi and Genya almost gets his eyes gouged, but Tanjiro intervenes and saves Genya from Sanemi's attack. This causes Tanjiro and Genya to come crashing through the building and blows the cover of Zenitsu and the other members, who were hiding from Sanemi. After dealing a blow to Sanemi, Tanjiro gives Zenitsu a small wink to signal him to get Genya out of there, but this causes Zenitsu to freak out. Zenitsu does manage to get Genya out of the fight, but calls his brother not human, which makes Genya mad and causes him to punch Zenitsu with Zenitsu responding that they're on the same side.
* The whole fight ends up with the members piling on Sanemi to stop him from fighting Tanjiro, which continued all the way until evening. The aftermath of this incident shows that Tanjiro gets a scolding from the higher-ups's messenger crow and not only puts his Wind Hashira training to a halt, but also gets him banned from approaching Sanemi.

* Tanjiro being adorably smug when Murata and the rookies compliment his cooking.
* While Tanjiro is exhausting and lying on the ground, Genya suddenly appears over Tanjiro, which scares him.
* During the training with Himejima, Genya teaches Tanjiro on using Repetitive Action, the use of a set of predetermined movements, in this case the use of memories, to raise focus in the body. Tanjiro uses the memories of his family and Rengoku's words to move the boulder as part of their training. When Inosuke sees him do this, he decides to use Repetitive Action too. What does he think about to raise focus and move the boulder? Tempura. And strangely, this actually works! Zenitsu is absolutely appalled and fears that he'll be the only one left in training.

* When Tanjiro, Genya, and Inosuke are eating together, Tanjiro and Genya are talking about their training with Himejima and Tanjiro offers Genya to come along with him to see Giyu, but Genya declines and explains that he hasn't moved the boulder yet and says that he can't use the Breaths. Out of nowhere, Inosuke starts mocking Genya and calls him a shrimp. Then Genya and Inosuke get into a little fist fight, in which Tanjiro breaks it up by sitting on Inosuke, who's still trying to fight.
* It turns out that Giyu can be just as silly as everyone else given the right moments. Right after an emotional moment of facing his doubts as a Hashira, Tanjiro asks Giyu if he is willing to have a cold soba speed eating contest with him. Tanjiro has a valid reason for doing so (just to cheer him up), but in Giyu's perspective it's out of the blue. It then cuts to the two doing just that.

** Zenitsu (who is barely conscious) asks the others to tell Nezuko that he loves her if he dies, while calling her his wife.

* Chapter 204: Zenitsu panicking when the room in the Butterfly Estate where Tanjiro is resting gets crowded due to the many Kakushi and swordsmiths coming inside.

* The citizens believing that Giyu is the one who killed a coal burner family from the other mountain range since the suspect was a man wearing a half-and-half haori. Giyu's expression is priceless.

* Giyu easily breaking the ropes used to tie him.

* Kyojuro getting embarrassed when he sees Mitsuri's [[{{Stripperiffic}}revealing Demon Slayer uniform]], but when she tells him that the Kakushi who brought the uniform tells her the uniform is official, Kyojuro says that if it's official then it's fine.

** Rengoku's attempt has him pretend to lose his glasses and having poor eyesight when they're on his head. Because Rengoku is [[HotBlooded Rengoku]], the joke utterly falls through and Giyu is left further baffled while Shinobu mentally remarks the attempt was too ridiculous to work to begin with.

** A BlackComedy example, but when [[BigBad Muzan]] is laying into the Lower Ranks for their constant failures, Kamanue (Lower Rank 6) starts to say to himself how it's easy for Muzan to criticize them since he rarely gets involved in fights himself... only for Muzan to reveal that he can hear his thoughts as he's thinking them. Cue a massive OhCrap reaction from Kamanue as he thinks to himself "I'm screwed!" only for Muzan to ask him to clarify ''how'' [[YouHaveFailedMe screwed he is]].
