* One quest has Varuo encountering a vase sculptor who wants to submit his latest work to a local art contest, but feels something is missing. When he leaves, Varuo made an internal remark that he didn't like the vase one bit and attempted to make it his latest scratching post...only to accidentally push it and ended up breaking it. The kicker? The sculptor ended up having EurekaMoment upon seeing the fragments, and he made a dramatic remark complete with a zoomed focus over the vase fragments.

* A sidequest in the Lunar City leads to Mistrare burning up and asking Prai to "relieve the heat within her". Cut to outside with Thillelille happening to listen in on this bit of the conversation. She busts in... and finds Prai and Mistrare fervently jumping side to side. Moke wants in on the action and darts across the room. Thillelille is completely befuddled.

! Character Quests
* In Samora's first character quest, Aldo chasing little fire slimes and burning his hands in the process.
* The second part of Laclair's character quest has her attempt to obtain information about a dragon from a computer in the Industrial Ruins. Said attempt includes screaming at the computer and kicking it, then being persuaded someone is stuck inside.
* Cerrine's dialogues in her quests is ''dripping'' with funny DoubleEntendre. Turning a delinquent into an "obedient" student? Promising him a "reward" if he behaves and "punishment" otherwise? Afterschool studies must be something...
* AS Mighty's quest has him going to school for a test, and arriving on time to boot... Only to find the whole class including the teacher is prey to a Nightmare. After kicking the Nightmare's ass and giving a small pep talk to his teacher in his dreams, the students wake up and marvel at Mighty being there... And the teacher, despite remembering having talked to him, writes Mighty up for being late since he wasn't there at the moment class started.
-->'''Mighty''': [[YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe Really?! Aw man...]]
* Partway through Dewey's first character quest reveals that he gets easily flustered when girls give him praise or close attention. After helping out an elderly man find his [[StalkerWithACrush stalker]], it's revealed that he the manager of a women-only dormitory (whom they affectionately refer to as "grandpa"). One of his tenants told the others of Dewey's actions, and they all rushed over to gush over how [[AdorablyPrecociousChild adorable]] he is. Add in his [[{{Nanomachines}} nanomachine-powered]] steam-manipulation and well...
-->'''Girls:''' No way! So he's an adorable detective as well as a hero?!\\
'''Dewey:''' Nah, it was nothing. I... [[HighPressureEmotion *starts emitting steam from all over*]]\\
'''Girls:''' Oh! Look he's all embarrassed!\\
'''Girls:''' Ohhh! He's going [[LuminescentBlush all red]]! He's just the cutest thing I've ever seen!
* Veina's second character quest leads her to Elzion's online library so she can continue reading her favorite epic novel. When the servers are down, Aldo and Veina have to figure out a solution, but due to being FishOutOfTemporalWater, humorous misunderstandings ensue.
* Lovely's character quests establish that while her cooking looks and smells appealing, the taste is [[LethalChef anything but]]. It starts with Aldo falling into a [[MushroomSamba weird dream sequence]] that plays out as a distorted variant of his usual [[GoodMorningCrono start-of-day routine]]. The game then drives the point home with her cooking incapacitating a ''level 80'' quest boss. A level 10 party (the recommended level for this quest) will barely scratch it, but the food-induced '''5 million poison damage''' will certainly kill it.
** Then in Lovely's 2nd quest, Samora and Aldo try to push off eating Lovely's terrible food off onto each other, which only encourages Lovely to feed the both of them.
* Hismena's first character quest involves a meeting that leads her companions into the dangerous Industrial Ruins. After she saves their lives, she's identified as the Blue Rose Knight, the legendary player of an MMO she used to play. Hismena's [[OldShame incredibly embarrassed about this]], and who wouldn't be, when they are identified by a cheesy online handle they've long abandoned?
* Shanie's character quests:
** Shanie's character quests have other funny moments. At the end of her third quest, the charm curse placed on her has finally been broken, so she can go out in public without enthralling every man who gets too close - but when she tries it, she freaks out because three strangers immediately declare themselves in love with her in exactly the same way that men had been doing while the curse was active. Even without magic, Shanie is just that adorable. ❤
** Her Another Style quest has her and Aldo going on a da... ''day out'' together. Let's just say that when one half is clueless and having NoSocialSkills about falling in love and the other is utterly ObliviousToLove, the result is ''painfully hilarious'' to watch (and amazingly, manages to be heartwarming as well), as elaborated in instances below.
** In her third character quest, it is established that Shanie's fallen in love with Aldo, but chooses to remain JustFriends with him. Her Another Style character quest starts with her seeking private audience with Ratchett, who needs to tell her something important. The music fades out once Shanie declares she's ready, and:
--> '''[[ShipperOnDeck Ratchett]]:''' [[SuddenlyShouting WHY... HAVE YOU MADE NO... PROGRESS ON ALDO?]]
** When being told by Ratchett to wear something different that will catch Aldo's eye, Shanie's conclusion is... to take her best set of armor. Ratchett is exasperated by this, but ultimately sees no point in arguing further. In what doubles as heartwarming moment, Aldo actually finds her looking more gallant.
** While eating out together, Aldo is ComicallyMissingThePoint by saying out loud that the more people eating together with them, it would be merrier, which annoys Shanie. Then Shanie gets stomachache from eating too much.
** Near the end of her Another Style quest, the mage who originally cursed Shanie puts the strongest version of the charm curse he can on Aldo in the hope that enough women would start swarming to cover his escape - but instead, Aldo starts attracting cats. The mage ''hates'' cats, and breaks down and begs for forgiveness, saying he'll remove Aldo's curse and never curse anyone again. Of course, he [[TheFarmerAndTheViper immediately goes back on his promise]] and tries to re-curse Shanie, but Shanie is prepared this time, and the mage is the one who ends up cursed. To attract cats.
* Claude's Another Style quest starts with him discovering a woman named Cynthia who is a princess from a lost kingdom. Assuming they're both of the same lineage, they hustle off to the Last Island to attempt to revive their kingdom... only to notice a little too late that they're from entirely different kingdoms. The whole time, [[FailedASpotCheck Claude was brandishing a large flag and Cynthia was wearing a cape, both prominently displaying the different kingdoms' insignias.]]
-->'''Aldo:''' YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe\\
'''Cynthia:''' [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere That's it... I'm done. I'm going home.]]
* Renri's Another Style quest:
** The quest has her dress up to fit into the crowd at a carnival for her mission. She arrives at the abandoned Toto Dreamland and is furious that there's definitely no carnival to infiltrate. The Chief of COA then steps in to get her to calm down... and he's also dressed for the occasion as an idol fan. Even better? ''He completely acts like one'' and Renri has to stop him from becoming too enthusiastic. This is even more hilarious considering the Chief of COA was depicted as a completely humorless ObstructiveBureaucrat in Renri's previous quests.
** Along the way, the group encounters one of the local monsters. The Chief tells Renri and Aldo to leave the monster to him... only to get knocked flat immediately afterwards. If the following dialogue is any indication, Renri seems to be considering ''weaponizing'' it for their investigation, or at least she clearly has some mischievous ideas from the event.
---> '''Aldo:''' Just go easy on the guy already, Renri...
* The Good Macky's recruitment quests:
** In the first quest, Aldo follows the critter around the village only to discover that ''everyone'' calls it by different names, and he complains that the various names are becoming hard to track. Ultimately, it is down to the player to agree upon which name to be given to him, but what really sells it is that despite the player learns the name given by Marlowe (Horai's village mayor) first ("Stumpy"), Aldo immediately shoots his suggestion down and starts with the name given by Terry the lumberjack instead ("Meat").
** In the second quest, the Good Macky follows Aldo to the forest, much like how it followed him to the village at first. Aldo tried to admonish it by reasoning that it would be bad to disobey its parents if they say it can't go. The Good Macky's response? Cue its usual PokemonSpeak, then a pair of Mackies appeared in the background ''and the Good Macky proceeded to consult them''.
---> '''Aldo:''' What, you've got parents?! But what if we've already defeated them in battle...
* Myunfa's third character quest:
** Poor, poor Myunfa just can't seem to drill it to [[ObliviousToLove Aldo]]'s head that she has fallen for him and is practically asking him out on a date, even when she has been blatantly obvious about it.
---> '''Myunfa:''' I believe I've just witnessed the abyss of the human species.
** The final half of the quest has been nothing but gloomy, but watching the kettle spirit that Myunfa previously contracted have none of Lord Genshin's greed and proceeding to launch him to the air (complete with ATwinkleInTheSky) in response is ''incredibly satisfying''.
---> '''Genshin:''' ''(while flying)'' Mommmmmmy---!
* Cetie's Another Style quest introduces the SuperPrototype pod to Clock and Retro, Macaron. Who is something of an AbhorrentAdmirer to Cetie. When combined with Cetie being [[TheComicallySerious Cetie]], much HilarityEnsues.
** Macaron's EstablishingCharacterMoment has her revealing that she followed "Cetie-boy" by ''flying all the way from Elzion Airport to Nilva'', then she proceeds to take Cetie's photos as soon as she greeted him. When asked how she managed to accomplish such feat, her answer? ThePowerOfLove.
** When asked about her identity, Macaron loudly proclaims that she is "Cetie's cute, lovely honey". Cetie immediately becomes flustered and proceeds to tell her to "stop giving them (Aldo and the others) the wrong idea". Never mind that Cetie is a human and Macaron is a pod.
** When it is revealed that Macaron's specs in combat and data analysis surpass both Retro ''and'' Clock's, the latter two soon experience what amounts to HeroicBSOD. And for once, the two are united against a common rival.
** The following conversation when Cetie is about to summarize their findings from the Macminal Museum investigation, no thanks to the three pods are ComicallyMissingThePoint:
---> '''Cetie:''' Okay, so, we spent plenty of time looking around, but what we found is... \\
'''Retro:''' Pfft! We found out that Macaron might have all those amazing specs, but apparently there's something wrong with her personality! \\
'''[[StraightMan Aldo]]:''' That's not exactly what we were trying to find out about... \\
'''Clock:''' I'm surprised that you and I are finally on the same page, scrap. \\
'''Aldo:''' Clock?! Were you also having issues with Macaron?! \\
'''[[ClingyJealousGirl Macaron]]:''' Hmph! What you two do or say does not bother me at all! More importantly, we discovered that I have an enemy[[note]]Renri[[/note]] to keep an eye on! \\
'''Aldo:''' That's not right, either! \\
'''Cetie:''' ''*sigh*''... This is exhausting.
* Shannon's Another Style quest involves tracking down the suspect of a bomb threat. However, since it involves [[BunnyEarsLawyer Shannon]], it's significantly sillier than the typical scenario, with [[TheComicallySerious Renri]] playing the straight man to the shenanigans. It begins with a very half-hearted bomb threat, and after asking around, Shannon comes to very wild conclusions -- that she (rather than the public) is the target of the bomb threat, and the culprit is rival idol Ashlynn. Aldo is confused at the lines of logic, but the strange part is that she's actually right. Later on, at the end of the quest, Renri gets embarrassed and Aldo tries to cover for her and compliments her, until Shannon declares that she and Aldo were already married and on their honeymoon. A clueless Aldo is then pressed for questions by both the Drone and Shannon herself before the screen fades out.
--> '''Shannon:''' Hm? Aldo! How could you say something like that in front of me, your wife?
* Thillelille's third character quest involves her coming to terms with a notice of demotion on the basis of exploiting the people of Ratle. When she's ready to accept her fate, the priest stops her, and gets her to re-read the notice: the demotion's for Prai. Furthermore, it's a two-fold misunderstanding -- the supposed "exploitation" was from the Sentinels misinterpreting his sermon, admiring his great physique, and then going on a strict training and diet regimen for their "muscle prayers". Thillelille is flabbergasted at this, and even though the priest recognizes the benefits he has unwittingly given the Sentinels, he [[ButtMonkey continues with Prai's demotion anyway]].
* Victor's character quests:
** Victor's second character quest has him meet the Mayor, who he's acquainted with. Out of nowhere, the Mayor speaks [[LargeHam very dramatically]] and puts his all into a swing of his cane as if they were sparring. Aldo is utterly perplexed.
** In the same quest, while Victor and Aldo are accompanying the Mayor out, they encounter a goblin along the way. The Mayor's response to the supposed non-threat is by ''firing his ultimate KamehameHadoken move to the single goblin'', which Aldo finds to be over-the-top. When asked by Aldo why he needed to go through such lengths, the Mayor simply stated that "it may turn into mini-goblins" the moment they don't look, and Aldo has no rebuttal to his answer.
** The following line in the end of Victor's third character quest, simply by the virtue of Aldo uncharacteristically running away ''while screaming for the Mayor to help him''.[[note]]The entire quest basically reveals how Victor stopped aging and the reasoning behind it, and by extension why he always calls himself a "former" adventurer. Following the events of the quest, however, Victor decided to ditch the "former" part and make a new chapter of his adventure with Aldo. Considering how [[MetaGuy he tends to treat adventures like pre-penned story]] though, Aldo is nowhere as enthusiastic as Victor is, and in the previous quest this is noted to be one of the things those annoy the Mayor of Baruoki regarding Victor.[[/note]]
--> '''Aldo:''' GRAAAANDPAAAA! HEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEE!
* In Yipha's second character quest, the usually NiceGuy Aldo uncharacteristically goes into DeadpanSnarker mode after giving his reasoning on why he feels the need to go with Yipha to Rinde - namely, to ensure she doesn't cut corners with her rituals this time, only for Yipha to call him out on [[ChronicHeroSyndrome his tendency to stick his nose on other people's trouble]][[note]]which turns into HypocriticalHumor by the time of the third quest, since Yipha herself reveals that if there is one thing she actually enjoys doing as a priestess, it is listening to other people's troubles and helping them out[[/note]].
--> '''Yipha:''' I know I'm in no place to say this, but there's really no reason for you to always get involved in other people's trouble. I don't think anyone could complain if you just dealt with your own problems. \\
'''Aldo:''' Yipha... ''(pauses)'' If I'm being honest, I'm having trouble thanking you... \\
'''Yipha:''' That was harsh! *sniff* I guess I've got to hurry up and deal with these strange happenings if I want to get your trust back.

* Victor's character quests:
--> '''Aldo:''' GRAAAANDPAAAA! HEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEE!
*sniff* I guess I've got to hurry up and deal with these strange happenings if I want to get your trust back.

quests:

** Her Another Style quest has her and Aldo going on a da... ''day out'' together. Let's just say that when one half is clueless and having NoSocialSkills about falling in love and the other is utterly ObliviousToLove, the result is ''painfully hilarious'' to watch (and amazingly, manages to be heartwarming as well), as elaborated in instances below.
