** Speaking of "A Clingy Boy"... Toward the end of the song, there is a line saying that [[spoiler:the boy thought he would see his beloved soon, but that she disappeared again]]. Combine that with his behaviour during years 1-6 - he keeps hurting himself in various ways, even saying that all his bones were broken, and doesn't care that his house is burning, only surviving through sheer luck. Was he repeatedly trying to commit suicide [[spoiler:because he couldn't get over her death]]?

* When you get past the fanservice, ''Spice!'' has some...rather unsettling implications that can turn [[TheCasanova Len]] into a borderline VillainProtagonist; he courts girls constantly, has sex with them, dumps them the minute he gets what he wants, and repeats the process as much as he pleases, all while expressing a cheerfully nihilistic attitude about the whole thing and not caring about any of the girls he hurts (to put it into perspective, WordOfGod says that ''RIP=RELEASE'' is the sequel to ''Spice!''; the song is about Luka being driven [[{{Yandere}} insane]], and starts wondering about [[IfICantHaveYou killing him if he doesn't fall in love with her]]).

* Rin and Len's most common fanon portrayal, with Rin being more emotional and impulsive and Len being more rational and composed, makes sense when you think of their motif; Rin and Len are typically seen as two halves of a whole, with ''Ri''n being the ''ri''ght half and ''Le''n being the ''le''ft. The right side of the brain typically operates on emotion while the left side operates on logic.

** Also, notice how each new Captain Hook has a hook for a hand. After Len dons his Hook garb, he now has a hook in place of his left hand. Could this mean that to play the part, each new Captain had to ''chop his own hand off?''

* This probably sounds silly, but I used to wonder what the "infinity" sign in [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQih8wmIn_M‎ Bad ∞ End ∞ Night]] means. Then, watching the sequels, and discovering that the story is presented as some sort of GroundhogDayLoop, I realized that the infinity symbol is to signify the endless loops that have continued indefinitely.

* In Portrait of the Pirate F, we see Rin as Tinkerbell take Len to Neverland and him acting out the role of Peter Pan... until he grows bored of the peace resulting in defeating Hook and he decides to take over the ship himself and be the pirate. We see pictures implying that Kaito as Hook arrived the same way Len did and we see a Miku who is obviously supposed to be Wendy at the end, so this begs the question, for just how long has Rin been doing this over and over again?

* In Meltdown, why choose the method of jumping into a nuclear reactor? It's a little over the top, isn't it? Why don't you slit your throat or put a bullet through your brain? Also, nuclear reactors are highly guarded places. You would need frickin' security clearance to get into the nuclear power plant, let alone the reactor. Does the singer have security clearance? What is this even?

* "Trick And Treat" is a song about luring children into the woods, capturing them, drugging them, and removing their hearts (and possibly other organs).
** In a twist reminiscent of Banette from Pokemon, in the animated PV, Rin and Len are Miku's childhood dolls who have been reanimated by demonic rituals to seek revenge on the girl who abandoned them. Don't ever leave your dolls, kids; they'll kill ya!

to:

**For those not familiar, this song is based off of the Japanese Freak Circuses from quite a long time ago. The song includes mentions of the children being raped and forced to eat human flesh. The PV explains things in more detail; these sideshow freaks are actually kids taken off the streets, dragged into the woods, and mutilated in ways including two twins being stitched together and kids having acid poured on their face. As in, sulfuric acid on their bare flesh. And while the song mentions a lot of these kids having suicidal thoughts, one of them is actually seen hanged in the PV.
