The ties together a long-standing mystery from ''Literature/TheStormlightArchive'', where in one of Dalinar's visions he encountered a strange smoke-like monster that had nothing to do with the world's magic system, and which the Knights explained was ''not'' a Voidbringer. Now the question is just where Odium got his hands on a Midnight Aether to spawn spores--[[FridgeHorror and is it still functional in the modern day?]]
