If there were security at night in the books, then a large part of the novels can't happen and there wouldn't be any drama (although given how powerful the Disney Villains are, it's unlikely security could've stopped them!). The same thing goes for no Coordinators or Managers to keep up the feeling of "something's not right" when the protagonists see Disney characters where they're not supposed to be.
