* Man, those Runes sure are useful! They can warp you anywhere, heal you up, boost your stats, all whenever you like! [[spoiler: [[DifficultySpike Wait, what do you mean that they don't do anything in the back half of the game?]] Wait, what do you mean you use them to actively seal away Gorsia's power and sap his stats during the final battle? Wait, ''have I actually been using Gorsia's sealed-away power willy-nilly for my own ends for most of my adventure''?!]]

* The game never reveals who hired the bounty hunter Pison to kill the player character. This makes sense though as talking to the other apprentices shows that their opinions of your character will change over time, meaning a character who once wanted you dead may come to consider you a valuable ally as you grow stronger. And of course they can't just call off the contract on you if you befriend them since you've already killed Pison at least once by the time you team up and Pison holds a grudge. Naturally your newfound ally isn't going to admit they're the reason you have an angry bounty hunter that won't stay dead chasing you around.

* At the end of the game, the protagonist is [[spoiler: reincarnated as King Lemele]]. This can, for half the potential protagonists, be read as getting their wish... [[MetaphoricallyTrue metaphorically]]. Lejes wants Lemele's throne [[spoiler: and gets it by becoming Lemele himself]]. Valsu wants to drive evil out of the world [[spoiler: and gets to do so as he lives out Lemele's life]]. Olvan wants to be young again [[spoiler: and being reborn as an infant certainly [[ExactWords qualifies]]]]. And Wilme wants respect and acceptance [[spoiler: and, as Lemele, becomes a beloved king]]. Sadly, this leaves out Lux, who fulfilled his mission to learn about the origins of Tetujin before the final dungeon, and Kamil and Esuna, whose goals are never spelled out.
