* [[spoiler:Chrissy]] bringing filth and trash to Surfer's Paradise in "500 Days of Bummer" seems completely unlikely. How can someone as neat and put-together as her stand to even touch something so dirty? Then you realize that it's the perfect cover; no one would suspect someone so tidy to be the one bringing filth into the hotel.

* Bummer seems to be more afraid of Ridgemount than would be warranted even by a CEO or ex-military member constantly being overhead. Why is this? Bummer is likely on the hook for a HUGE amount of labour law violations, such as dismissal without cause through the strike system, Unsafe working conditions, probably unpaid overtime, not maintaining the staff housing, stealing intellectual property and hazing occurring on his watch among other things. He is right to be terrified of Mr. Ridgemount. If even one of his employees makes a legal case against the hotel, its all going to come down on Bummer like a ton of bricks. Besides which is the personal trouble he could get into. Mr.Ridgemount likely has very little idea this is happening, as he let his daughter work under conditions that are effectively a legal case waiting to happen.

* Fin's super-belch early into "Heartbreak Hotel" is {{Foreshadowing}} of the episode's A-plot. Namely, Fin is such a tomboy that the actual ''guys'' she's hanging with find her unbearably emasculating.
