** Similarly, the Bearog is a Petpet with three heads. When it is painted Mutant, it only has one head. Its three heads do ''not'' share a HiveMind, as its description says that they never agree on anything. Does painting it Mutant effectively "kill" its other two heads??

In-universe, they were a species that were brought to the brink of extinction after a natural disaster, [[HopeSpot but their population was finally starting to make a comeback]]... that is, until [[ReplacementScrappy users complained en masse about the relatively gentle-looking Tatsu replacing the edgier-looking Cerpull]], so they were themselves replaced by the Eyrie on January 26, 2001 -- a mere six months after they were introduced. So much for that comeback from the brink of extinction.

* FridgeBrilliance laden with UnfortunateImplications: A citizen of the Neopian equivalent to Asia, Hoban carries both traits of a stereotypical Chinese person: yellow fur/skin and [[EyesAlwaysShut perpetually closed eyes.]] He's also short, a trait seen in stereotypes of the Japanese.

It seems as if mother Bythons lay their eggs in the grip of a black hole on purpose. The spike in gravity behind the event horizon hatches the eggs, and viable Bython hatchlings go fast enough to escape even where light cannot.

* In the epilogue for the Faerie's Ruin, Altador [[spoiler: goes out on a quest to find the Darkest Faerie statue]]. What is he carrying? [[spoiler: A [[UnfortunateImplications pickaxe]]]]. * For most of the site's lifespan, most of Neopia was in MedievalStasis. The staff said when asked about this in one editorial that while {{Hand Wav|e}}ing more advanced technology by saying it was from Virtupets would be possible, it wouldn't be advisable because most other pets would be suspicious of someone using something so connected with a dictator like Dr. Sloth. In 2022 and 2023 though, the tech restrictions started considerably lessening, and modern tech has been popping up more and more. Dr. Sloth's invasion was in early 2000... [[Recap/SouthParkS6E1JaredHasAides about 22.3 years prior. Enough time has passed for the global trauma to wear off]].

* While playing Snot Splatter, I realized something about Meuka. He is a monstrous meerca said to eat "young Neopets that wander astray", and is made of snot. This makes him, as some people would call them, a [[{{ThingsThatGoBumpInTheNight}} "boogerman".]]

Yet he was still [[MiscarriageOfJustice wrongfully imprisoned for the majority of his life]], long enough to [[GoMadFromTheIsolation degenerate into an ACTUAL lunatic]] who will [[MadnessMantra talk about nothing else but the land he was punished for]], for the sake of a Running Gag. * Speaking of mutants, there's the Mutant Hissi, which sprouts an extra head which, [[DependingOnTheWriter depending on who you ask]], can act [[MultipleHeadCase independently of the original]]. What happens to that second individual if that Mutant Hissi gets re-painted and, thus, reduced to only one head again?

Not to mention there are pets who ''live in'' Jelly World, so one would think that one of them would have spilled the beans by now. Who or what exactly is keeping it under wraps?
