* FridgeHorror: When Bowser heard of Fawful’s location in Peach’s Castle, he immediately made a plan to go to there, even though his minions were still brainwashed in his own castle. You might think it’s for revenge, but that’s never really been one of Bowser’s traits. He just wanted the Dark Star’s power the whole time, [[NearVillainVictory and he would have gotten it if he hadn’t punched the Vacuum Helmet away when attacking Fawful.]]

* a bit of FridgeBrilliance in the Flab Zone when offered between a “treasure of everlasting wonders” and Luigi. The treasure are a pair of badges, which need both Mario AND Luigi to be used, had Mario picked the treasure he would’ve lost his brother and the badges would be useless.

* A bit of it when Mario or Luigi gets KO'd. In this game, they are even more agitated, as shown by their movements, and when the remaining brother screams the fallen one's name, he sounds much more upset and horrified. Not to mention the fact that when Mario prepares his counterattack with the hammer, he always has an angry expression on his face, and when he's about to let go of it, he grits his teeth. There is also an equipment piece, which is a pair of socks that doubles the character's Defense if the other brother was knocked out. Sure, the bros only lose consciousness when their HP go down to 0, but the way the act when one of them is defeated is like the other one had just died in front of them.

** Which means that probably the plot of the ''entire game'' could have been avoided. If Peach had sent Bowser an invite to the meeting, with an added note on the invite mentioning that Mario and Luigi would also be there, then he wouldn't have attacked at the meeting (as being told in advance about the bro's being there would have both been a warning not to try anything, given his history of kidnapping Peach, while also giving him time to mentally prepare to be in the same room as people he hates without picking a fight). If Bowser hadn't attacked at the meeting, he wouldn't have lost to Mario again, meaning he wouldn't have been angry and desperate enough to eat a suspicious mushroom right after. Bowser not eating the vacuum shroom means nobody gets inhaled, which leaves both Peach and Bowser in their respective castles, with all of their staff and soldiers. And if that had happened, Fawful would have had to rework ''his entire plan''. That's right, literally the entire gambit roulette that played out depended on Peach snubbing Bowser, and Bowser getting mad about it.
** Confirmed in the remake; ''Bowser Jr.'s Journey'' demonstrates that several Goombas had also come down with the Blorbs. Bowser's anger at not being invited is even more understandable. (Although some dialogue implies that he's more mad about not getting the [[DisproportionateRetribution continental breakfast]].)

** There's also the Jailbots in the same area as above. Bowser's minions (Goombas and Bob-ombs) are trapped in what are basically mobile assault jails, watching helplessly as the robot they're jailed in assault Bowser. This is painfully obvious when Bowser frees them from the Jailbots and the minions are happy to see Bowser and reward him. Imagine, they're the ones that are too loyal to be brainwashed by Fawful. AND you can use Bowser's flame breath on them... Which makes Goombas twitch in pain. And makes your loyal bob-ombs explode and basically sacrifice it to destroy his Jailbot.

*** On the other hand, the bomb-om didn't really have any prospects aside from blowing up anyway, as it's literately all they are good for in combat, which or less means you're using them for what they were designed for.

* An interview states that the Best Fitness Friends / Brute Force Federation are of the same species as Midbus, though they look nothing like him. However, in the main story Fawful sets a precedent for the fact that he's likely been using Midbus as a guinea pig for different experiments by mutating him into Blizzard Midbus. Whatever the giant hog is now is likely a walking cocktail of different gene splices Fawful felt would make for an imposing toady, and is even more of a reason why his body proved unable to adapt to his own cold.

* So Bowser's Adrenaline system is in the "Rump Command". Researching Adrenal Glands shows in a normal person they're above the kidneys, which are still around midriff area, I still wondered: Why the Rump? Then I realized: Perhaps they're just showing that they're getting Bowser off his ass, you know, "Get off your ass", or "Get your ass in gear". But then I wondered: Why does it make him grow so big? Has that really ever been explained? Which gives another possible reason for its location: Mayhaps it's a subtle hint at its being an AssPull. Or perhaps I'm just a loon.

** Alternatively, all the time travel in PiT screwed with the space-time continuum in such a way that he no longer remembered who Fawful was by the time BiS begins.

* I wondered why Bowser didn't remember Fawful from Superstar Saga (I mean, he isn't the brightest crayon in the box, but given his grudge-holding tendencies, you'd think he'd remember all the BS Fawful pulled him through, ESPECIALLY given how much Fawful stood out among everyone else he met). Then I realized that the last time Bowser saw Fawful (not just in SS, but the series as a whole, as only the Baby Brothers encountered him in PiT) was when he attacked the Koopa Cruiser at the start of the game. It doesn't answer the question of why he doesn't remember Fawful (especially given my description of him as being prone to holding grudges), but it's part of the answer. What's the other part? He spends the rest of Superstar Saga getting the memory beaten out of him. Let's go over what happens to him after the KC gets shot down, shall we? First, he gets shot out of a cannon, and the next time you see him, he's working for Popple as the amnesiac Rookie. Then, he gets launched back to Stardust Fields by the Beanstar after his fight at the Hooniversity, but before he lands, he remembers who he is. Now, some might wonder why he might remember who he is but not what happened to his ship. My reasoning? The game didn't say he remembered that, so we have no reason to assume he remembered that. When Fawful transfers Cackletta's soul into Bowser, he's unconscious, and so he can't have remembered that happening, and since Cackletta's mind displaces Bowser's, he can't remember anything he did as Bowletta either. When he finally returns to normal, Fawful has already been defeated, so of course he wouldn't remember him.

*** And you get them when you reach Final Boss rank to boot. Final bosses almost always get to attack twice in a row in RPG's.

* Why does Bowser get the inhale ability from the Vaccuum Shroom while he could already inhale in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga? Could be because he is Bowletta at that point, but still.
