*The "bosses" of the Cybernetic Nightmare arc bear quite a lot of similarities to the ones from MetalGearRisingRevengeance:
** The Husk and Metal Gear RAY - both are mindless creatures used by the baddies to stall the hero(es). Both serve as tutorial bosses.
** Vivian and Mistral - both are female cyborgs (and the only females in their respective teams) that were given purpose by the main antagonist.
** Sechs and Monsoon - both are clearly out of their minds, and both fight using sais.
** Eric and Sundowner - both find pleasure in death, destruction and war and are willing to sacrifice a peaceful life for one filled with combat. Also, the way Eric talks about his Husks is very similar to the way Sundowner refers to the children's brains in his possession during Revengeance.
** [[spoiler:Wade]] and Sam - both used to be "good guys" until the BigBad corrupted them and turned them to the side of evil. Both remain sympathetic and funny despite being villains. Clearly different from the other members of their teams in terms of mentality and physiology (both have the least amount of cybernetic implants). Both fight with katanas. Both are looking for a WorthyOpponent.
** Takeshi and Armstrong - both want to change the world for what they perceive to be the better by giving every man, woman and child power beyond measure.

However, this stops being so surprising when you consider [[spoiler:his heritage - Deadpool was known as a mercenary who'd betray anyone for a good amount of cash, and Wade is his clone. Without the CharacterDevelopment that his father went through, it's not really surprising that Wade would fall so low.]]
**Aside from that, there were numerous instances in which [[spoiler:Wade]] knew things that he shouldn't really know - for example, he called Takeshi by his name when everyone around him was calling him "Dr. T". He was also aware of Nayumi's cybernetics even though no one, not even her close friends, knew about them.

Really, the only differences between the two are Nayumi's voicebox (which was installed later by a different scientist), Vivian's artificial eyes (which Takeshi planned to place on Nayumi anyway) and ears (which were necessary, as she was deaf). Once you consider the fact that both Nayumi and Vivian are artists and have very similar personalities, it's not exactly hard to figure out why Takeshi calls her "his daughter".
