* Anghel claims that Edel Blau (Hiyoko Tosaka, our player character) "skewered him with Saekro'm and imprisoned him in the Eternal Cage of Ice". Almost everything Anghel talks about is something real, just run through his Fantasy RPG filter. For instance, Saekro'm is his mapping pen. But what could the Cage of Ice be? Somewhere cold that Hiyoko could have locked him inside? It's mentioned several times that the library is always cold, no doubt due to Nageki's presence. In Nageki's route, it's also mentioned that students may be responsible for locking up the library, and should check to make sure no one is in there. In Holiday Star, Anghel often goes to the library to work on his manga. In other words, Anghel was in the library, Hiyoko didn't check thoroughly enough (perhaps he was too engrossed in his work to notice her calling out), and she accidentally locked him inside. Why she stabbed him with his mapping pen though is anybody's guess...

** I just assumed that [[spoiler: she didn't "say" anything-- Shuu was just deluding himself into thinking she did. Relatedly, my question is: How did Labor-9 make those breathing sounds (identical to Hiyoko's dying gasps) if nothing was left of Hiyoko but her brain?]]

* How can you [[spoiler:be killed by a small bird?]] You're a human, far bigger then him.
** It's outright said why: [[spoiler:You're frozen with fear, he has a cleaver, and it's implied a part of you wants this to happen.]] A better question would be how [[spoiler:he's holding said cleaver.]]
*** [[spoiler: [[CompletelyMissingThePoint With his left wing, of course.]]]]

* Assuming that birds are human-sized, how does Hiyoko throw them? Easy: she's a hunter-gatherer (and presumably significantly strong and physically active) and birds are lighter because they have hollow bones. If a sufficiently strong adult human can pick up and throw another one, it's not implausible for her to be able to do so to a much lighter bird.

* How come humans like Hiyoko and differently sized (but usually rather small) birds are able to use the same objects and facilities? For example, how are Azami and Hiyoko able to ride the same scooter together, with Azami driving?

* In India, the chukar partridge is often seen as a symbol of [[spoiler:forbidden love]]. Obscure, perhaps, but it fits Shuu perfectly.

** Which also explains Azami's human design - she wears dark colours, her hair looks more natural, and while she does have flashes of colour on her outfit it's not as obvious or overstated as some other characters. Female birds tend to have much duller plumage than males, so it makes sense that Azami would come across as tomboyish.

* Okosan uses WING ATTACK on Hiyoko during his route, and it's apparently super-effective. This implies that Hiyoko is a Bug-, Grass- or Fighting-type, the latter of which makes perfect sense given her personality and lifestyle.
