* Most of the Angels are connected to the one who summons them:
** Phanuel - Dito: It's connected to the giant crab seen in Five's Prologue DLC. Dito becomes enthusiastic of the prospect of seeing the "festering corpse" of said crap.
** Armaros - Decadus: It's a fortress who traps the enemies and leads them into deadly sawblade traps. Said traps are also located near the weak points of the fortress, which fits Decadus's masochism.
** Armisael - Octa: Creepy dolls. Octa defects from Three because she treats his subjects as objects for her experiments. This doesn't say much of Octa, until you consider that Three forced him to call this Angel, so it all goes back to her.
** Egregori - Cent: Two water giants that collaborate with each other.
** Galgaliel - Five: An army of immortal soldiers that will stay with Five forever.
** Zophiel - Four: A Daemon Dragon, which is a reskin of Gabriel. Four is envious of all of her sisters, including One.
** Ezrael - Three: A Daemon ''Wyrm''. If you notice, he doesn't properly fly; he just floats and teleports. Ironically, to beat him you have to slow him down.
** Raphael - Two and Cent: They summoned the Angel when they [[spoiler:were dying, while proclaiming they'll be together forever]]. Raphael forces you to stay with it in a dome that's quickly filling itself with poison.
** Abdiel - One: Three Golems. Not only it's a CallForward to Seere and his Golem, the three Angel Golems share a single core. In contrast to the numerous Armisael and Galgaliel and the Egregori couple, Abdiel is really just... One.

* In Ending B, Zero invokes some unseen pact with the Flower to revive Mikhail. [[spoiler: When he wakes up, ''he'' has the Flower in his eye socket. So it's possible that the Grotesquerie Queen will be immune to the one thing that could previously kill it (thank god for Ending D).]]

* In Ending C, Zero starts vomiting uncontrollably and having weird mood shifts. Considering that [[spoiler:she's gonna turn into a Grotesquerie Queen pretty soon at that point]], this makes perfect, horrible sense.

* The Disciples have characteristics opposite to those of their Intoners. Two is generous (love toward others); Cent is a narcissist (love toward himself), although [[spoiler:Cent turns out to be the saner of the duo, while Two goes off the deep end]]. Three is an asexual who loves her job; Octa is a DirtyOldMan who would sleep with anything. Four is envious of her sisters, and wants to lord over them; Decadus is a masochist who loves being bossed around. Five is greedy (she loves to have things); Dito is cruel (he loves to destroy things).

** For example, One is the most prideful of the Intoners.[[spoiler: Being that she has no Disciple, she'd could only quell her lust by making a OppositeSexClone of herself. In a sense, she's so prideful she won't sleep with anyone, but herself!]]

* The numbered names of the Intoners fit in a few interesting ways.

** One [[spoiler: clones herself, and her 'brother' takes her name after dying. So there's only ever one One]].
** Two, as mentioned above, is a glutton for love. She undergoes SanitySlippage when she's isolated - after having to [[spoiler: kill her adopted children]] and being from Cent's memories.
** Three, the MadScientist, is named for a number which appears a lot in mathematics (approximately the value of pie, the first of several different types of prime numbers, the noblest Pythagorean digit, etc).
** Four, who has a serious inferiority complex, is named for an unlucky number in Japan.
** Five, who has the highest numbered name, wants everything in excess. The Roman numeral five also indicates a main sequence, or dwarf star; yellow dwarf stars burn brightly, but have a shorter lifespan - and she's the first sister Zero kills.

** Two, as mentioned above, is a glutton for love. She undergoes SanitySlippage after being isolated after [[spoiler: the deaths of her adopted children]] and wiped from Cent's memories.

** Five, who has the highest numbered name, wants everything in excess.

** [[spoiler:Accord develops an attachment to Zero and a determination to make the route successful after so many failed attempts. Without that, she wouldn't have dared to hold off an extremely powerful One and requested for an intervention into the timeline so the Zero can kill her.]]

** [[spoiler:Two is dead. The Flower also cannot not take advantage her immense powers, which it used to kill One and Three in Branch B (One wants to eliminate the Flower and Intoners, while Three has the best control over it) and devolve Mikhail to be too weak to fight off Gabriel in Branch C.]]

** [[spoiler:Zero understands the relationship between the Flower and Dragons. She feeds Flower-corrupted corpse of Four to Mikhail as it's in the dragon's instinct to "devour the Flower", or in other words, eat Intoners like he did with Three in Branch A. With Four consumed, he evolves to his ultimate form and to ensure he's strong enough to withstand the Flower's power, unlike what happened in Branch C.]]

* Two, who wears a FlowerInHerHair, is the one whose mind is always consumed or broken as a result of her powers.

** Three is {{Sloth}}, and right off the bat it already makes sense. She's lazy and cares little about things like sex. However, people associated with Sloth tend to actually be very skilled at their area of expertise when they get motivated, or take a interest. Three's Lust is completely apathetic in actual sexual lust, but instead finds interest in her creations. The biggest FridgeBrilliance? One could argue her Lust is Lust of perfectionism in science, not sex!

** For Two, Gluttony doesn't seem to quite fit her until the meaning of it, over-indulgence and consumption, are taken in a different sense than just food. Her beloved Cent indulged her in everything, from sensual love to preventing her worries. [[spoiler:However it takes a turn for the worst when her powers go out of control, consuming everything precious in her life, such as her subjects and the war orphans she loved like family. In the end, even her own blithe spirit was consumed by guilt and depression.]]

** For Two, Gluttony doesn't seem to quite fit her until the meaning of it, over-indulgence and consumption, is taken in a different sense than just food. Her beloved Cent indulged her in everything. However it takes a turn for the worst when her powers went out of control, consuming everything precious in her life, such as her subjects and the war orphans she loved. In the end even her own blithe spirit was consumed by guilt and depression.

* The Intoners being weak against Dragon related weapons, or a Dragon itself seems odd until you reach Branch D [[spoiler: where it's revealed that the Intoners are actually Grotesqueries Queens, which, as established by the first game, can only be killed by Dragons.]]

** Three is notably based off of Homura in color scheme, but is completely unlike her in personality. That is, until you realize that they both know much more about the secret workings of the world than others, such as the magical girl system and the Flower's power.
** One's color scheme is borrowed by Kuybey of all people! One is the only sibling to have a backup plan should she die, and she knows the whole truth about the setting.

** One seems to be the only sister who does not embody a magical but oddly her color scheme is borrowed by Kuybey of all people! In fact, One is the only sibling to have a backup plan should she die, knows the whole truth about the setting.

* The Intoners being weak against Dragon related weapons, or a Dragon itself seems odd until you reach Branch D.[[spoiler: Because the Intoners are actually Grotesqueries Queens, only Dragon's could naturally kill it, a fact established in the first game.]]

* Why does Zero murder her way through soldiers with such apathy? Because these soldiers are dependent on their Intoners' songs to function. Later levels show these men becoming mindless soldiers as they suffer the withdrawal symptoms from loss of contact with their respective intoner. Affiliating themselves with the Intoners has doomed them whether it be by Zero's blade, the inevitable withdrawal of their Intoner's song, or should Zero fail, the end of the world.

* Why does Zero murder her way through soldiers with such apathy? Because these soldiers are dependent on their Intoners' songs to function. Later levels show these men becoming mindless soldiers as they suffer the withdrawal symptoms from loss of contact with their respective intoner. Affiliating themselves with the Intoners has doomed them whether it be by Zero's blade, the inevitable withdrawl of their Intoner's song, or should Zero fail, the end of the world.

* Zero's treatment of Mikhail is abusive yes, but it does make sense when you realize that Zero herself had a AbusiveParent, but actually did not hate them for it and sympathized with her mother. As a result, Zero is treating Mikhail the way she was treated because it seems normal to her.

* So the character designer was told to keep ''Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica'' in mind when designing the Intoners. It makes sense that Two, who appears to based off Sayaka's design, gets consumed by her song in every route.
