* The Disciples have characteristics opposite to those of their Intoners. Two is generous (love toward others); Cent is a narcissist (love toward himself), although [[spoiler:Cent turns out to be the saner of the duo, while Two goes off the deep end]]. Three is an asexual who loves her job; Octa is a DirtyOldMan who would sleep with anything. Four is envious of her sisters, and wants to lord over them; Decadus is a masochist who loves being bossed around. Five is greedy (she loves to have things); Dito is cruel (he loves to destroy things).

* Zero and One have extremely similar color schemes: white-and-black outfits with only a bit of pink (for Zero) and red (for One), which is harder to distinguish than the colors of the other Intoners. Why? Because Zero is the oldest sister, and the prideful One has replaced her, presenting herself as the lead Intoner to the rest of the world. [[spoiler: She even plans to eliminate the Flower (which contains traces of both their colors) like Zero, but without taking her own life so she can be seen as a savior.]]

* Thanks to the prequel manga ''Utahime Five'' it showed us what the previous rulers were like and frankly [[AssholeVictim Its a good thing One wanted to get rid of them]]. It also reveals that surprisingly One was actually the oldest looking Intoner until she sacrificed her mature appearance to what she looks like in the main game to save Gabriella by forging a "Pact" with her.

* The Intoners being weak against Dragon related weapons, or a Dragon itself, seems odd until you reach Branch D [[spoiler:where it's revealed that the Intoners are actually Grotesqueries Queens, which, as established by the first game, can only be killed by Dragons.]]

** Armaros: It's a fortress that traps the enemies and leads them into deadly sawblade traps, a parallel to Four's pure exterior and nasty interior. Said traps are also located near the weak points of the fortress, which fits Decadus' masochism.

** Four, who has a serious inferiority complex, is named for an unlucky number in Japan. She sees herself as being below One (first place) in brains, Two (second place) in likeability, and Three (third place) in beauty. And the Roman numeral four denotes a subgiant, stars which are brighter than a dwarf -- mirroring her hatred of Five -- but dimmer than the stars that correspond to her older sisters' names. (Recall that Madoka Magica, which influenced their designs, had a bunch of astrological symbolism.)

** Similarly, Five is likely based on Mami due to having blonde hair and the [[BoobsOfSteel biggest bust]]. She's also the first Intoner to die, similar to how Mami is the first Magic Girl to be killed off.

Added DiffLines:

** You could find a new layer of FridgeBrilliance in the way the Disciples are named. Decadus' name, when given the numerical value of the word closest to his, which would be Ten, makes him, the most reserved Disciple, the opposite of Five, who is without restraint. Octa, whose name can be a reference to Eight, since Oct- is the root word for that number, makes him correspond to Four in numerical terms. While Four is the sole virgin Intoner, Octa is the total opposite of her in this single regard. Dito, whose name is very likely a reference to the number Two (Di = Two), corresponds with Two in that he revels in causing death and carnage, while Two doesn't enjoy conflict, preferring to nurture life if possible. Cent, whose name is very likely a reference to One, as his name is a singular word, may allude to him being a self-proclaimed idiot, whereas One is often regarded as the wisest Intoner. As for [[spoiler: Brother! One,]] the only Intoner left he could correspond to is Three. As revealed in his novella, he created the symbol for [[spoiler: the Cult of the Watchers]] from the first game. Now how many eyes are seen on the face of that particular symbol?

*** Although another theory is that the transformation into a Daemon acts as a one-sided pact. That would explain why [=Gabriella/Gabriel=] reaps both the benefits (Gabriel is much stronger than Gabriella) and the drawbacks (he dies the instant One dies) of a normal pact, while One still lives on if Gabriel is the one killed.

** This therefore means that if either One or Gabriel dies, then so does the other. Which means in Ending A, One was already dying before Zero kills her as Zero had just killed Gabriel. This also means Gabriel was not killed by Mikhail's attack in Branch C because One would not have been able to fight if he did.
