''[=D4DJ=]'' (full title: ''Dig Delight Direct Drive DJ'') is a media mix project created by Creator/{{Bushiroad}}. Following in the steps of projects like ''Anime/ShoujoKagekiRevueStarlight'' and ''Anime/BangDream'', ''[=D4DJ=]'' is a multimedia franchise centered around [=DJing=]. ''[=D4DJ=]'' currently consists of three major works: ''VideoGame/D4DJGroovyMix'', a RhythmGame for UsefulNotes/{{iOS|Games}} and UsefulNotes/{{Android|Games}}, ''[=D4DJ=] First Mix'', an anime series, and ''[=D4DJ=] Petit Mix'', a SuperDeformed WebOriginal series. There are also several manga adaptations. Furthermore, the franchise has several original songs, some with their own live shows or [=MVs=].

The franchise currently focuses around eight units, split into two groups, alongside two supporting units:
* Side:Origin, which consists of the original six units:
** Happy Around!: The protagonist group of the series. A bubbly idol-themed unit who aims to bring a smile to everyone. They are the newest DJ unit of Yoba Academy. Their primary music genre style is a combination of J-pop and dubstep. They also use happy hardcore and gabba.
** Peaky P-key: A popular Hollywood-themed DJ unit in Yoba Academy. Also known as Peaky, their music style is a combination of techno, hip hop, and rave music.
** Photon Maiden: A futuristic-themed unit working under an entertainment agency, whose members have been selected through a nationwide audition. They captivate the audience with their choreographed performances and electro pop songs. Their music style is a combination of trance, techno, and dance music.
** [=Merm4id=]: A glamorous summer-themed DJ unit with a mellow and sexy vibe formed by second-year college students. Bringing "good vibes" through their performances, they aim to become famous like Photon Maiden. While their music style is similar to the group in question, it is primarily a combination of trance and rave music.
** RONDO: A goth rock-themed DJ unit consisting of second-year college students who work at a famous local club. Centering around their vocalist, they specialize in heavy rock songs, with guitar played live. Their music style is mainly a combination of trance and rock with touch of drum and bass.
** Lyrical Lily: An angelic-themed high school DJ unit from the prestigious Arisugawa Private Academy. Their music style is a combination of trance, house, and classical music.
* Side:Nova, which consists of the two units added at the 2nd anniversary:
** Abyssmare: A foreign unit who has suddenly appeared in Japan.
** [=UniChØrd=]: A space-themed unit formed by Michiru Kaibara.
* The recurring supporting units are:
** Call of Artemis: A formerly legendary DJ unit. Splits into subunits called Lynx Eyes[[note]]Shano and Toka[[/note]] and Scarlet Canary[[note]]Airi and Mana[[/note]]. Its members can be seen in various supporting roles.
** L.M.O: Another formerly famous unit, and the only unit to have male characters (and is in fact an all-male unit). Unlike the other units in the game, they only appear in stories and do not have music or cards released. Like Call of Artemis, its former members can be seen in various supporting roles, such as being related to the main units' members.

''[=D4DJ=] First Mix'' follows the three high school units who attend Yoba Academy, while ''[=D4DJ=] Groovy Mix'' follows all six groups in an original story where the units take part in a DJ festival called [=D4Fes=]. The English version of the game was officially released May 27, 2021.

A second season of the anime, entitled ''[=D4DJ=] All Mix'' with all six of the groups, was announced in April of 2022 and will air in January 2023.
