The film admittedly received [[LoveItOrHateIt polarizing reviews]], but RogerEbert notably called it ''[[http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2009/12/the_best_films_of_the_decade.html "the best film of the 2000s"]].''

* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotSymbolic: There's plenty of real symbolism, but it is possible to over-analyse the film. In Roger Ebert's essay on the film he suggested that the fact that people are in rooms is a metaphor for life.
