* KillEmAll: In "Training Day", Odd Todd releases a pienado into Headquarters, which consists of pies. The pies' effects are flip-flopped -- either agents [[InstantDeathBullet die on impact upon being hit by them,]] [[TapOnTheHead they're simply knocked out,]] [[InstantIllness they're struck down by disease,]] or they're fatally wounded. Olive, being the SoleSurvivor, manages to stop the pienado despite taking a pie to the back herself and with a HeroicSacrifice from Oscar. In the movie, O'Donahue explains how a pienado was released into Headquarters, but doesn't give many details. Considering that Odd Todd manages to succeed in the BadFuture and there's no trace of Oprah's boss, it's heavily implied that he killed the entirety of Precinct 13579 and took it over in a KlingonPromotion scenario (with Oprah likely to have filled the role of Olive if she were still employed). However, since the Big O isn't mentioned, it's unknown if Odd Todd killed him as well in order to take over Odd Squad as an organization.
** Odd Todd also tries to kill Olympia, Otis, O'Donahue and Oona by throwing pies at them. None of them are struck and take cover under a nearby bridge until he flies off, but the Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator takes serious damage and becomes nearly unusable save for the circuit boards.

Building off of the events of "[[Recap/OddSquadS1E10TheTroubleWithCentigurpsTotallyOddSquad Totally Odd Squad]]", Olympia and Otis attend a MilestoneCelebration ceremony for Oprah, who is celebrating 100 years of service working at Odd Squad. As Olympia expresses interest in seeing the day when Oprah was promoted to the position of Odd Squad Director, Oona offers to take her and Otis back in time to when it happened, April 9th, 1983, using a gadget known as the Whoosh-You-Back-in-Time-inator. In awe at what Odd Squad life was like in 1983, Oona decides to check out the gift shop while Olympia and Otis watch Oprah and O'Donahue working to beat the Patternista, and eventually, the trio bear witness to the case's twist, taking place in an abandoned warehouse at 6 Green Street: Oprah's old boss assuming a false identity as the Patternista to fool the agent. As they leave the building and teleport back to the present at Oona's suggestion, however, they are unaware that the impact from the teleportation causes the number 6 attached to the building to flip downwards to a 9, confusing Oprah and leading her away from the building.

* AdaptedOut: Despite being crucial to Odd Todd's villainous turn and subsequent HeelFaceTurn, as well as being his primary target for recruitment to the Todd Squad, Olive doesn't appear outside of a mention when O'Donahue suggests that Oprah's old boss promote her and make her an Investigation agent. Oscar also isn't present outside of a brief mention by O'Donahue.

*SeriesContinuityError: Todd explains at Oprah’s ceremony that the reason he made his HeelFaceTurn was because of Oprah. In the Season 1 finale, when he made his turn, it seems he did it because he was terrified of the (supposed) oddness that Otto released, not because of Oprah herself.[[note]]Although, if Oprah was the one who made the plan to stop Odd Todd, then Todd technically did make his turn because of Oprah, albeit confusingly.[[/note]]

* ParentheticalSwearing: The argument between Oprah and her boss has them using big words and yelling at each other, which some fans have noted sounds like they're shouting swear words at each other. Considering that the show is a WorkCom and Directors are made to parallel real-life CEOs/managers/bosses, it's very possible that they're swearing at each other, just in an odd way.

As a result, Olympia, Otis and Oona are teleported to a BadFuture, where Odd Squad is nonexistent and is replaced by the Todd Squad, led by Odd Todd, Olive's former partner and the founder of the organization who rules over agents with an iron fist and succeeds in his goal of creating a world where oddness runs free. Realizing that the world is doomed to be destroyed if this state of living is accepted as the present day, the trio resolve to find Oprah and O'Donahue, defeat Odd Todd, and once the Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator becomes destroyed, they must also seek parts to build a new one and return home.

* AlternateSelf: Otis, Olympia and Oona manage to see themselves just as they're teleporting away from 6 Green Street, which happened earlier in the movie. Doing this is how they realize the mistake they made and how they prevent it from happening.
* AmbiguousTimePeriod: Zig-zagged. It's not made clear when the present-day events of the movie are taking place, nor is it revealed when the BadFuture is, but the exact date Olympia, Otis and Oona time-travel to in order to relive the events of "Totally Odd Squad" is revealed: April 9th, 1983. Similarly, when going to fix their mistake at 6 Green Street, Otis tells Oprah that he, Olympia and Oona come from 30 years into the future, which would put the aforementioned present-day events as taking place in 2013. [[note]]The Season 2 finale would later put 2016 as the year that the season took place. Since the movie takes place during Season 2, whether Otis simply had a dialogue slip-up or this is simply a ContinuitySnarl is up for debate -- however, since Otis mentions the time period of 30 years ago twice, it's more likely that the latter is the case.[[/note]]

* BigNo: Odd Todd shouts one as Oona puts the cube on the Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator gadget.

* ColourCodedForYourConvenience: The agents surrounding Oprah, O'Donahue and Todd at the ceremony all wear commemoration sashes in their respective department's colors. Likewise, Oprah wears a purple sash to reflect her department's color.

* DisproportionateRetribution: Oprah's boss fires her for misconduct and takes her badge and her gum. Instead of filling the spot by hiring another agent-in-training and promoting them to the Investigation department, however, she leaves it completely vacant for ''14 years.''

* DisproportionateRetribution: Oprah's boss fires her for misconduct and takes her badge and her gum. Instead of filling the spot in the precinct by hiring another agent-in-training and promoting them to the Investigation department, however, she leaves it completely vacant for ''14 years.''

* DramaticShattering: To prevent them from rebuilding the Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator gadget, Odd Todd drops the two triangular pieces of his gadget, which causes them to break. He also stomps on them as an added touch, which results in a huge loss for the Odd Squad agents.
* DudeWheresMyReward: PlayedForLaughs with Oprah at the end, who tells Precinct 13579 that she accepts the trophy on the behalf of all of them who have helped her, only for O'Donahue to tell her that there ''is'' no trophy. She quickly disregards any notion of an award and instead declares that it's party time.

* EurekaMoment: Odd Todd's armor malfunctions as he's transforming in front of the group, and mentions that he has to use a grabber tool to pull the rectangular prism in his boot that will restart the transformation process. As it turns out, mentioning the rectangular prism is what gives Oprah an idea to take the rectangular prism out of Odd Todd's gadget, split it apart, and use it for Oona's.

* GroupPictureEnding: While it's not intentional on their end, the movie ends with a sepia-toned picture of Olympia, Otis and Oona dressed in armor and looking at each other, placed on a piece of paper.

* HereWeGoAgain: Olympia, Otis and Oona suit up and prepare to time-travel to the Middle Ages at the end of the movie, so they can see how Oprah met them back before 1983.

* KnightInShiningArmor: Olympia, Otis and Oona all wear full suits of armor to blend into the Middle Ages at the end of the movie. Funny enough, their hair still looks straight out of TheEighties, something that Olympia brings up.
--> '''Olympia:''' I feel like we got the hair wrong.

* RetroactivePrecognition: Oona accidentally lets slip that Oprah becomes an Odd Squad Director in front of her, causing her to react with confusion as Olympia and Otis give nonverbal WhatWereYouThinking reactions. She then switches from being confused to expressing doubt over becoming a Director. Once Oona, Otis and Olympia give her some words of encouragement, Oona makes things worse by revealing to her that the Patternista is her boss in disguise, eliciting another confused reaction from her and causing Olympia and Otis to give her another dose of WhatWereYouThinking.
** It's inverted in the case of Oprah in the present day at the end of the movie, as it's revealed that she has knowledge of who Olympia, Otis and Oona are from when they helped her back in 1983, and also has knowledge of their time-traveling adventure. Not only that, but she also has knowledge of meeting them even ''before'' 1983 and seemingly predicts the future.
--> '''Olympia:''' You...remember us from 1983?
--> '''Oprah:''' How could I forget? Without you, I wouldn't be a Ms. O.
--> '''Otis:''' Must have been weird meeting us 30 years ago and then seeing us again now.
--> '''Oprah:''' No, the weird part was when I met you ''before'' 1983.
--> '''Oona:''' Whoa-whoa. But we never traveled to any other time besides 1983.
--> '''Oprah:''' Not yet you didn't.
--> ''[Olympia, Otis and Oona exchange confused reactions]''
* ResetButton: When Otis, Olympia and Oona go back to 1983 from the BadFuture, all the banana split residue from Odd Todd's attack is cleaned off of them, something Olympia lampshades.

** There's also "Goin' to the Middle Ages", which serves as a reprise of the aforementioned song.

* TakeCover: Otis tells everyone to do this when Odd Todd begins shooting banana splits at them.

* ThreatBackfire: Odd Todd threatens to create enough oddness that Olympia, Oprah, Otis, Oona and O'Donahue will always remember the day that they crossed him. For Olympia, who wanted to time-travel in the first place, she takes the threat in stride and cheerfully says that she'll never forget this day.

** There's also another mundane example with Olympia, Otis and Oona suiting up in armor to go to the Middle Ages at the end.

* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: Olympia tries to give Oprah one of these, but it's defied by the ex-agent.

\n\n** Later on, Olympia and Otis give the Oprah from 1983 a brief speech on how she's fit to be a Director after she expresses doubt over becoming one. It ends up spurring confidence in her. For Olympia, it also doubles as slight CharacterDevelopment, since she is ThePerfectionist who has little to no tolerance for failing at things.
--> '''Oprah:''' I...I can't be a Ms. O.

* AccidentalMisnaming: Olympia, Otis and Oona all refer to Oprah as "Ms. O" at one point instead of her actual name when she agrees to help them out with the museum infiltration. O'Donahue, on the other hand, calls her by her correct name.

* AesopEnforcer: Oona simply cannot miss a chance to give the mathematical [[{{Aesop}} Aesops]] of the movie. Otis eventually has to tell her that she's told them about the aesops hundreds of times already and that it's getting stale.
* TheAlcoholic: The movie reveals that Oprah was just as addicted to juice boxes back in the 1980s, and it still served as a G-rated version of alcohol.
* {{Antidisestablishmentarianism}}: O'Donahue explains that Oprah and her boss got into an argument, and big words were said, which includes this word along with many others.
* AlternateCatchphraseInflection: The "What are you waiting for? Go" catchphrase, which is most commonly used by Oprah and other Directors, is said in a disgusted tone by Oprah's old boss...directly to Oprah herself.

* BeardOfEvil: The BadFuture version of Owen has a full goatee. He also works for the Todd Squad and is loyal to Odd Todd, and it's revealed that he only has the goatee because Odd Todd didn't think he was odd enough without it.
* BondVillainStupidity: Odd Todd manages to extract information out of Oprah about where O'Donahue and the others are going. However, before his departure, he simply taunts Oprah by telling her she's a "lousy, third-rate straw sharpener" and doesn't render her incapable in any manner, such as tying her up with rope or afflicting some sort of terrible oddness on her, instead leaving her be in his office as he and Odena depart. Sure enough, this is what enables her to come to the others' aid and help ward off Odd Todd during the climactic showdown.
* BorrowedCatchphrase: Olympia borrows the "Whaaaaaaat?" catchphrase of Olive and Otto, used often in Season 1. However, unlike them, she doesn't do it in unison with anyone.
* TheCassandra: Oprah's old boss refuses to believe Oprah when she tells her that she walked up and down Green Street attempting to find whichever building was number 6 and couldn't find it. Her reasoning is that her test was perfect, and if Oprah failed, then that's her fault and her fault only. Oprah becomes enraged enough to lay a smackdown on her boss and gets fired from Odd Squad as a result.
* ChaseScene: O'Donahue, Oona, Olympia and Otis run through the woods to escape Odd Todd, who chases after them and fires pies at them.

* {{Cloudcuckooland}}: Todd Squad's Headquarters, and by extension the BadFuture as a whole, is this, but more PlayedForDrama. Most agents, including Owen and Odd Todd, are quite eccentric and love dealing in oddness.
* ColorWash: When Otis, Oona and Olympia escape Todd Squad's Headquarters and heads to the outside world, the color of the scene briefly turns to a bright pink to emphasize the town's dystopia.
* ContinuityCavalcade: The oddities that Oona, Otis and Olympia experience in the outside world all come from previous episodes and specials.
** Likewise, the reinforcements that Oprah brings are all people and oddities from numerous past episodes, such as Slappy the Sun and a man with a pickle head.
* ContinuityNod: Odd Todd gives Owen snail feet, like how Delivery Debbie had snail feet in ''Film/OddSquadTheMovie''. Bonus points for the fact that while Weird Tom, the BigBad, didn't cause Debbie's snail feet, he did let it continue on, and Odd Todd serves as the BigBad of this movie.
* ContrivedCoincidence: Odd Todd lampshades how coincidental it was that he caught Otis, Olympia and Oona talking to O'Donahue.
* DamnYouMuscleMemory: Otis is so used to having the double-doors in Headquarters be automatic that he [[WatchOutForThatTree walks right into them]] before attempting to pry them open with his hands.
* DancingIsSeriousBusiness: The ball pit seen in Todd Squad is an interpretative dancing studio, and has agents dancing in it.
* {{Determinator}}: Hilariously averted for Oona when Otis asks Oprah if she has any gadgets from her time as an agent, only for her to respond with a simple "no". Oona's response is to say that there's no hope for her, Olympia and Otis and walk away with them.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Oprah's boss fires her for misconduct and takes her badge and her gum. Instead of filling the spot by hiring another agent-in-training and promoting them to the Investigation department, however, she leaves it completely vacant for ''14 years.''

* ExtinctInTheFuture: It's all but stated that Odd Todd managed to wipe out ''every single fish species on the planet'' in the BadFuture, replacing them with plastic singing ones. O'Donahue, being a fisherman that catches inedible fish, is forced to feed Oona, Otis and Olympia beans instead.
* FailedASpotCheck: Despite walking towards it, Oona doesn't notice the PIN pad located on the automatic double-doors leading from the bullpen to the trophy room. On that note, neither do Olympia and Otis.
* FallenOnHardTimesJob: After being fired from Odd Squad, Oprah approached Shmumbers Incorporated asking for employment. While Chuck Shmumbers, the CFO, offered her any job in the company, she picked the low job of straw sharpener.
* FlyingBooks: Mr. Fonts uses these to distract a pair of Todd Squad guards.

* HairReboot: Olympia and Otis begin walking towards Ms. O's office, and despite the short distance, their hairstyles revert back to normal as well as their outfits.

to:

* GradeSchoolCEO: Chuck Shmumbers is the Chief Financial Officer of Shmumbers Incorporated, which makes juice boxes. He's also the cousin of Yucks Shmumbers, the original founder of the company, and has known Oprah since the 1700s. Like Oprah, he's [[OlderThanTheyLook older than he looks,]] although it's not specified exactly how old he is (he [[HandWave handwaves]] the question by holding out his hands out a reasonable distance and saying he's "this old").
* HairReboot: Olympia and Otis begin walking towards Ms. O's office, office after returning to (presumably) the present day, and despite the short distance, their hairstyles revert back to normal as well as their outfits.outfits.
** Oprah's hair goes from being laid down and curly to a PrimAndProperBun between her meeting up with O'Donahue and the others outside the museum, and them approaching the first set of guards posted inside.
* HairTriggerTemper: Oprah is explicitly referred to as having had a nasty temper by O'Donahue back when the two of them were agents in 1983. Oona, Olympia and Otis can sympathize, since the Oprah from the present day is infamous for having a bad temper, being a TinyTyrannicalGirl. However, for the Oprah in 1983, this turns out to be her FatalFlaw, as she is unable to control her anger and ends up arguing with her boss, which gets her fired.
* HeroesGoneFishing: Even in the BadFuture, O'Donahue's hobby remains as fishing, and Olympia, Otis and Oona manage to find him at his favorite fishing spot.
* HesBack: Being fired from Odd Squad hits Oprah in the gut ''hard,'' and she regresses to a disinclined straw sharpener who is afraid of failing. When Odd Todd goes after O'Donahue and the Odd Squad agents after forcefully extracting info from her, however, it spurs her to become the girl she is in the present day: TheAce who is a BadassAdorable and is a strong {{Determinator}}.
* HiccupHijinks: The client from "Zero Effect" uses her hiccups to shatter the glass case holding the gadget with the needed parts in the museum.
* HiddenInPlainSight: Odd Todd ambushes the agents in the final room by disguising himself as a golden bust. However, no one recognizes him until he wipes the gold off of his face.

* HorribleHousing: O'Donahue lives in a house situated deep in a wooded area thats sole defining feature is a table with four seats and a bench right in the middle of it.

* LandOfOneCity: A workplace variant. Odd Todd runs the entirety of the Todd Squad from Precinct 13579, as opposed to Odd Squad as an organization being run from the Big Office. It appears that Precinct 13579 ''is'' the Big Office and is occupied by Odd Todd, who serves as the equivalent of the Big O in the BadFuture. The Big Office, nor the Big O himself, is seen or mentioned at all.

to:

* InescapableNet: Otis, Olympia and Oona become ensnared in one of these after the former steps on a stick protruding from the dock at O'Donahue's fishing spot, which is a trap O'Donahue himself set up to capture intruding Todd Squad agents.
* ItsAllJunk: Subverted. O'Donahue believes that Oprah might have averted the trope and kept a few gadgets from TheEighties, since she has a sentimental attachment to them, and as a result, he, Olympia, Oona and Otis go to find her. When they do, however, she tells them that she has no gadgets on her person at all.
** It's completely averted with Oprah's suit, however -- it's so sentimental to her that she couldn't bring herself to throw it away, and instead, she wears it under her work uniform.
* LandOfOneCity: A workplace variant. Odd Todd runs the entirety of the Todd Squad from Precinct 13579, as opposed to Odd Squad as an organization being run from the Big Office. It appears that If O'Donahue's story is any indication, Precinct 13579 ''is'' the Big Office and is occupied by Odd Todd, who serves as the equivalent of the Big O in the BadFuture. The Big Office, nor the Big O himself, is seen or mentioned at all.

* TheLeader: Naturally, Oprah becomes this at the climax of the second half when raiding the museum. She is a mix of all four types: Levelheaded, Mastermind, Charismatic and Headstrong.
* LetThePastBurn: Played with. It's not stated whether Odd Todd burned every single Odd Squad record or not, as O'Donahue simply mentions that he "destroyed" them. Regardless, no one knows who Oprah, and by extension the rest of the main cast, is, since all of the records are gone, including those of agents who didn't convert to making oddness under Odd Todd's rule.
** It's also played with concerning the fate of gadgets, as it's not made clear if Odd Todd burned them or not, but nevertheless, all of them are destroyed...except for one: gadget 43, Odd Todd's first creation, which resides at the Museum of Modern Odd.
* LettingHerHairDown: In stark contrast to the present-day Oprah's PrimAndProperBun, which represents her PintsizedPowerhouse strength and her high status in Odd Squad hierarchy, the Oprah of the BadFuture has her hair down in loose curls, to symbolize her indetermination and her fall from grace.

* MeanBoss: Oprah's boss is this in the BadFuture. She only seeks to hire agents who get straight A's (or in the show's case, straight O's) and believes that if she creates a test and the agent fails it, it's not her fault or the test's -- rather, the agent is just too stupid to ace it. She hires Todd instead of Olive because of his higher grades, and despite her presumably seeing him switch to oddness as he works under her, she is oblivious to it until he has a chance to usurp the position of Odd Squad Director from her (much like Oprah, who was also oblivious to Todd's actions, but stood her ground and refused to die in the pienado attack).

* MyMasterRightOrWrong: Subverted. Initially, those like Odena and Owen are seen as loyal members of the Todd Squad who love causing oddness just like their boss. However, later on, it's revealed that they don't like oddness, especially when it happens to themselves, and show signs of defecting from the Todd Squad. Odena is a sort of zig-zagged example, despite being TheDragon -- she wants her odd problem fixed, but still has UndyingLoyalty to Odd Todd and sticks by his side, having no problem antagonizing Oprah alongside him.
* NoNameGiven: Just like in "Totally Odd Squad", Oprah's boss isn't given a name, and is referred to as "80s Ms. O".

* OneSteveLimit: When Olympia tells O'Donahue that she, Otis and Oona know Oprah, he believes she's referring to Creator/OprahWinfrey, the "ex-talk show host that's mostly doing magazine stuff now". Yep, that's right, there are two Oprah's in the world of ''Odd Squad'' -- the celebrity, and [[NamedAfterSomebodyFamous the girl who is named after, as well as slightly inspired by, the celebrity.]]
* OverlyLongGag: The confusion over whether Oprah said that they're sending blobs or Bobs to distract the next set of guards.
* PoweredArmor: Odd Todd has a multicolored, Iron Man-like suit of armor that he is able to transform in and out of at will, which also has a propeller for {{Flight}} capability. It even comes with its own personal assistant, Wrenchy, and has a similar interface as Iron Man. However, it often short-circuits halfway through the transformation.
* PowerGlows: Odena has been struck with oddness by way of her face glowing a bright green when she pulls her right ear.

* RuleOfThree: Oona invokes the trope, being the last one to react to O'Donahue's story at various points because she feels she should say something.

* SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong: Defied by Oona when Otis suggests that she teleport him, her, and Olympia back to 1983 so they can find out their mistake that led to the BadFuture occurring and fix it so things go back to how they are in the present day. She refuses, saying that they don't know what that mistake ''is,'' and if they change the wrong thing, it can have even bigger disastrous effects on the world.
* ShoutOut: Odd Todd's mecha outfit is very similar to that of [[ComicBook/IronMan Iron Man's.]]
** Wrenchy, Odd Todd's assistant embedded in his mecha suit, draws parallels to Clippy, the infamous [[UsefulNotes/MicrosoftWindows Microsoft Office Assistant.]]
* SpyTuxReveal: Oprah apparently never took her Odd Squad suit off, as she rips off her Shmumbers Incorporated work uniform to reveal her suit underneath.
* [[invoked]] {{Squick}}: In-universe -- Olympia has this reaction to Owen's snail feet, a soft, quiet "Ew..." Oona, on the other hand, lunges for the chance to pet them.
* StockFootage: Clips from "Training Day" when the pienado is released into Precinct 13579's Headquarters is used when O'Donahue is describing a pienado being released when he was an agent.
* SummationGathering: Odd Todd holds one with his agents following the failure of defeating Olympia, Otis, Oona and O'Donahue.
* SwissCheeseSecurity: Lampshaded by Oona, who finds it weird that there aren't guards posted at the Museum of Modern Odd. It's later revealed to be subverted when there are guards posted in front of the final room, then invoked by Odd Todd, as he intentionally didn't post guards at the entrance to lure them into a trap.

* ThrowingTheDistraction: O'Donahue throws his fisherman's hat behind him, which distracts Odd Todd and Odena long enough for him, Olympia, Otis and Oona to make a run for it.
* TranquilFury: Ironic as it may seem, it's ''Odd Todd'' of all people who gets this, as he orders one of his agents, Osmond, to take a walk and not to return to Todd Squad Headquarters until he comes up with a legitimate idea on how to stop the Odd Squad agents.
* TruthSerums: Odd Todd spikes Oprah's juice box with one of these in order to make her spill the truth about where O'Donahue and the Odd Squad agents are headed. While she initially tries to fight it, she doesn't last long, and Odd Todd eventually gets wind of them heading to the Museum of Modern Odd.

* TrustPassword: O'Donahue believes that Oona, Otis and Olympia are working for the Todd Squad due to their outfits, which are identical to Odd Squad's. Otis attempts to tell him that they're from a different time period where Todd Squad doesn't exist, but O'Donahue begins to walk away. Olympia tells him that they know Oprah (not the talk show host, the ex-agent) and Otis explains that where the trio come from, they're real Odd Squad agents and Odd Todd never took over. O'Donahue is still skeptical and asks them what Oprah's favorite juice box flavor is, and when they all answer handily with "All of them", O'Donahue comes to view them as allies and takes them to his home so they can discuss things further.
* TurnInYourBadge: Oprah's old boss fires her when she lets her anger get the better of her and argues with her boss. Not only does she order the agent to hand over her badge, but also the gum she's chewing.
* UselessSecurityCamera: Averted. It's revealed that Odd Tod has set up security cameras all over town. While they're used to potentially watch oddness live as it happens, Osmond decides to use it to try and find the Odd Squad agents. He ends up finding them at Shmumbers Incorporated.
* WatchOutForThatTree: When exiting Todd Squad Headquarters, Otis walks towards the automatic double-doors and ends up colliding with them due to the fact that they're locked. Olympia and Oona, who are close behind, jump back before they can collide with the doors as well.
* WeCanRuleTogether: Odd Todd, as well as his agents, have been asking O'Donahue to join the Todd Squad, only for him to shoot down the offer every time. Considering it was shown that he was a right-hand agent to Oprah's boss, it makes sense why he would refuse to join up with a pro-odd organization.

to:

\n\n* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: Olympia tries to give Oprah one of these, but it's defied by the ex-agent.
--> '''O'Donahue: We should break into the museum. Oprah, what time do you get off?
--> '''Oprah:''' Doesn't matter. I'm not coming with you.
--> '''Olympia, Otis and Oona:''' But you have to.
--> '''Oprah:''' I failed as an agent over 30 years ago. I'm not going to risk failing again.
--> '''Olympia:''' But you're not a failure in our world. You're strong and inspiring-
--> '''Oprah:''' No! I'm not. I'm just the third-best straw sharpener in town.

None

Added DiffLines:

** The Oprah seen in the show is a PintsizedPowerhouse who is also a confident BadassAdorable. While she's still presented this way in the movie's present day, the BadFuture shows that she's become a lowly straw sharpener who is an unhelping recluse with a negative attitude (which changes at the climax of the movie).

Added DiffLines:

** The Mathroom is also absent, and is instead replaced by Olympia using her smartwatch to explain the Patternista's pattern to Otis.
* AxCrazy: While Odd Todd is less psychotic than he was in Season 1, he still has his moments, such as freaking out when Otis hesitantly confirms with him if he wants him and Olympia to fix a pair of dancing pants.

Added DiffLines:

* CheerfulChild: Olympia has a dream to go back to the day when Oprah became Precinct 13579's Director and watch the events unfold for herself. She manages to achieve that dream thanks to Oona's gadget, and goes absolutely ''nuts'' over how Odd Squad was back then. Otis, being the OnlySaneMan, doesn't manage to calm her down until they, along with Oona, see Oprah approaching 6 Green Street.
* TheDragon: Odena serves as this to Odd Todd, being his right-hand agent who accompanies him in tracking down Olympia, Otis and Oona, and later Oprah and O'Donahue.
* EffectiveKnockoff: The Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator seems to be a better and bigger version of the Before-Now Machine introduced in "6:00 to 6:05". Whereas that gadget can send someone back an entire hour with plutonium and bananas and was smaller, the Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator requires no ingredients and can take someone decades into the past or future. Both gadgets also have similar activation guidelines, requiring someone to grip a sphere located onto the end of the gadget to send them back or forward in time, and both have the same blue color when activated. However, the Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator functions more like a teleportation device than the Before-Now Machine, which had flashier and weirder effects.
* ForWantOfANail: Oona's biggest fear with time-travel is that changing even one event in the past can have a disastrous effect on the future. As it turns out, that's exactly what happens.
* FromBadToWorse: Oona finds out that her lab is no more and the ball pit is an interpretive dance studio, while Olympia and Otis find out that Odd Todd has taken residence in Ms. O's office. And it goes downhill from there -- the outside world is filled with oddities every which way, from a Ginormouse to laser chickens to a vortex looming above it all.
* HairReboot: Olympia and Otis begin walking towards Ms. O's office, and despite the short distance, their hairstyles revert back to normal as well as their outfits.
* HoldTheUnsolicitedIngredient: Inverted when Oprah asks O'Donahue about lunch. The two agree on having cheeseburgers...without the burger.
* ImmediateSelfContradiction: Otis initially refuses to go with Olympia and Oona to 1983, citing the events of "Back to the Past" and how a timetastrophe was nearly created. Olympia explains that since they weren't born yet in 1983, there aren't any [[AlternateSelf alternate selves]] to see, and her bringing up the idea of dressing in 80s outfits and hairstyles to blend in manages to get him to switch sides.
--> '''Otis:''' Still, no way I'll agree to this.
--> '''Olympia:''' What if I said we had to dress up in 80s outfits to blend in?
--> '''Otis:''' I will agree to this.
* LargeHam: It's par for the course for Odd Todd -- even in a BadFuture, he hams it up at nearly everything he does.
* LikeADuckTakesToWater: Olympia, Otis and Oona all seem to adapt to 1983 pretty well -- Olympia especially so, since she is an Odd Squad historian and knows a lot about the organization as it was known in the past and explains to Otis how Oprah became a Director to begin with.

Added DiffLines:

* MuseumOfTheStrangeAndUnusual: The aptly-named Museum of Modern Odd, where oddities that the Todd Squad causes are stored. It's implied to be run by Odd Todd itself, as he has posted guards at the building.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Odd Todd is still fond of this even in the BadFuture -- when Otis and Olympia question him, he responds by leaping up onto the desk and sniffing them in a threatening manner.
* OhCrap:
** The look on Oona's face when Odena doesn't know anything about a "lab" or a "Ms. O" is made of this trope.
** On that note, so are the looks on Otis' and Olympia's faces when they see Odd Todd sitting in Ms. O's chair.
* RippleEffectProofMemory: Oona, Otis and Olympia all remember what their present day is like despite hopping from date to date, and also retain their memories what 1983 is like after time-warping to the BadFuture. They resolve to try and fix their mistake from the past so the present day is as it was before.
* RunningGag: Olympia, Otis and Oona mention things that they like under a certain category, such as favorite ice cream flavors.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: As soon as Olympia and Otis see that Odd Todd is back, they endure little of his villainous attitude before Olympia attempts to devise an excuse for leaving by saying that they're going to get a bag or a box for the dancing pants he wishes for her and Otis to bring to the Museum of Natural Odd, followed by the two agents booking it.
* SettingOffSong: "Goin' to the 80s", which isn't sung by any of the characters, but showcases them gearing up in 80s attire to prep for their time-travel journey to 1983. It also lists off several products from the 80s, such as a bulky [[UsefulNotes/AppleMacintosh Apple Macintosh]] computer and a Rubik's cube.
* TheTell: Otis knows his partner well enough to know that she isn't satisfied with watching Oprah and O'Donahue figure out the Patternista's patterns -- she wants to see the moment when Oprah is named Director of Precinct 13579.
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: Olympia, Otis and Oona, three children, manage to use enough cans of hairspray to make a pile that's ''taller than they are.'' And somehow, their hair still comes out looking fabulous enough for the 80s.
--> '''Olympia:''' [[{{Understatement}} Uh, guess we used a lot of hairspray...]]
* ThisIsMyBoomstick: Subverted. Oona returns to what is believed to be the present day, and walks into her lab only to find spare parts lying around everywhere, with one agent, Odena, working on them. She asks the agent about what happened to her lab, but she becomes confused and tells her that "the boss" destroyed all the gadgets, and doesn't think to inquire about the Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator the Scientist is holding.
* TransformationSequence: A mundane example compared to most -- Olympia, Otis and Oona all switch up their outfits from being modern-day to being straight out of the 80s, including socks worn on the outside of pants and crazy hairstyles.
* WhamShot: Odd Todd perking his head up and spinning around in his chair when Olympia apologizes for missing the celebration party.

[[caption-width-right:350:''"Every case Odd Squad ever solved has been undone."'']]
''Odd Squad: World Turned Odd'' is a MadeForTVMovie based on the TV show ''Series/OddSquad.'' It premiered on Creator/PBSKids on January 15, 2018, with [[Creator/{{CBC}} Ici Radio-Canada]] premiering it two months later on March 11, 2018, and is the second movie of the franchise following ''Film/OddSquadTheMovie'' as well as the second movie for Sinking Ship Entertainment as a company.

Building off of the events of "Totally Odd Squad", Olympia and Otis attend a milestone celebration ceremony for Oprah, who is celebrating 100 years of service working at Odd Squad. As Olympia expresses interest in seeing the day when Oprah was promoted to the position, Oona offers to take her and Otis back in time to when it happened, April 9th, 1983, using a gadget known as the Whoosh-You-Back-in-Time-inator.

!!''Odd Squad: World Turned Odd'' provides examples of:

* SixIsNine: The blast from Oona's Whoosh-You-Back-In-Time-inator causes the 6 number of the building to become rotated so it reads 9. When Oprah arrives at the building, instead of going inside to see the Patternista, she expresses confusion and continues searching for her kidnapped boss.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: In the show, Todd was shown to be initially hesitant about helping out Odd Squad after his HeelFaceTurn and still kept some of his villainous traits. In the movie, present-day Todd is much more benevolent and kind, while the Todd in the BadFuture is far more cruel and far more successful than when he was a villain during Season 1.
* BackToTheEarlyInstallment: Oona, Otis and Olympia travel to April 9, 1983, which is the day when the events of the story Oprah told in "Totally Odd Squad" took place.
* [[invoked]] MilestoneCelebration: In-universe. Oprah celebrates 100 years working for Odd Squad, and has a ceremony held in her honor, where she is accompanied by O'Donahue and Todd.
